I mean it’s been a pretty decent game for a while now to be fair
I never got caught up in the hype for the game, and have just enjoyed it…it looks great in 4k and is mostly fixed. For the sale prices I've seen it go for it's worth it.
I haven't touch the game since launch week. I just kept it updated. I only played 14.1 hours since launch week. I was planning to jump back in seriously after this update or the next. But i will wait for update 1.7 since they will be reworking the cop system. I will jump back for that one.
Nah thats not glitches thats just how the future be, The "Clipping out of a vending machine" challenge is just popular in the future and thats world building, The cops spawning inside your bung hole is just because of there sci-fi inter-dimensional tunneling system that allows them to come out of anywhere (just sci fi tech not glitches) and the animation switching? There not doing that they are doing little dances between there movements because they are hip
Cyberspunk is a game that has a great reputation for never having any glitches even before launch, Glitches? In Cyberpunk? You gotta be daft
These "Patches" are just ruining the games world building
it's turned around but not in same way as no man's sky.
as someone whose on there 3rd playthrough ive been solidely enjoying the game since launch, and kinda working trhough the bugs/issues plus ever since i got my gaming pc and buying the game on pc the mods have made the game almost issue free for me atleast, also cant wait for the expansion to come out
if anyone is thinking of picking the game up on pc, heres the mods i use that kinda help fix the game
TweakXL
TemplarGFXs Cyberpunk Tweaks
Redscript
General AIO Optimiations
Cyber Vehicle Overhaul
Cyber Engine tweaks
Theres tons of other cool and helpful mods over on the CP2077 Nexus
One last thing i forgot to mention, Blunty choom i have solidly been enjoying your 2nd playthrough as well, there has been several times where i audibly busted out loud laughing.
I currently playing it on my PC. It really is fun and wild. Of course, I modded it a lot, looks better than the original.
I had preordered this on xbox one and it was not a good time, it took so long to get a series x and it was better but I ended up buying it on PC when they done that 50% deal. Have not even completed one play through due to life getting in the way but it is crazy to think it has been 18 months now. Went by very fast for me.
No
Wow, it only took 21 months to make the game kinda what I paid for it on release day, CDPR LIED about what they were releasing, they are on my Boycott list forever!!!
Tried 1.6 and still couldn't take it seriously. It's still poorly optimized for mid tier PCs so unless you have a 3080 or better you're having a tough time. Also experienced multiple NPC bugs in the first 2 mins then the game crashed 15 mins in. Uninstalled real quick
I was fortunate in that I wasn't really following this game prior to launch, so I enjoyed it for what it was. However when I read back about the drama it was disappointing how little the game delivered compared to the promises. I seemed to miss, or not notice, a lot of the bugs people experienced with the game (not all of them obviously, there were so many).
Still haven't done the final mission as I wasn't sure if I could still find all the Johnny bonus bits during the busywork after that point, which is just one of many flaws. I wish games would be clearer going in if you are going to miss content or not by completing the game before doing the extra stuff. But its worse in this game than usual due to just how much boring side stuff there is and not knowing when those bonus scenes are going to pop.
Can't say I like the sound of potentially needing to start from scratch due to changing how the skill trees work though, thats a horrible thing to do to people who had the game from launch.
Did they at least fix the 8mb save file error?
Add Cyberpunk 2077 to the list of “it’s good now” games. Makes me wonder if EA regrets giving up on Anthem.
What about tge spacegame comming up? 😅
Honestly I love this game, despite it all.
I was lucky enough to have the PC version at launch with a decent rig (before my beloved RTX card). Those first days were amazing and I was unaware of a lot of the issues people had on last gen. Near the endgame I was riding around the east side of town feeling like it was missing something though, and that sort of started to drag me down. Night City is so damn cool I just want ways to enjoy it outside of gigs. Also, when I started to "mess around" finally I got a full force of the wonky 1.0 AI and issues. It was a long wait to see if they'd truly make the improvements. After the next gen relaunch the game got WAY better and I've had a hard time putting it down. I'm excited to see the overhauls they recently discussed, and hopefully we get more arcade games and other non-gig activities. Good time to be a fan.
I played at release and I don’t plan to play it again until the very last update for the game comes out.
To answer your question about CDPR, I'm a Gamer since Pong. And CDPR was in my book one of the “good” companies. Witcher 1 (7/10), Witcher 2 (8/10) & Witcher 3 (9/10) were good Games, good consumer Products. i bought W2 & 3 blind / Preorder. Of course, 2 & 3 had to “patch up” to be near perfect, aka “Enhanced Edition” and “Blood & Wine Edition”. But CDPR did it for free. I played W1 one time. W2 3 Times & W3 4 times through so far. In my Opinion, CGPR drank their own Cool Aid. They thought they can play in the big boys league like Ubirape, Blizfart, EA surprise mechanics and so on and so forth. Big Boys League mean: Crunch, shitty handling of staff, releasing an MVP (minimal viable product) as an finished game, lying through their teeth. I think we all know the picture. For me as a Gamer, the consequence of their actions, I will be to never buy anything PreOrder, Full Price ever again (even on their Printing Money machine GOG). Like all other Products by shitty AAA Publishers. In 2022, I Preordered ONE Game, “Construction Simulator” because my Friends want to play it CO-OP. P.S. I played CP77 at launch for 70 Hours. Story & World building wise, it's a very good Game. I had no Game breaking Bugs in my Play through (3 Crashes), but the Immersion Breaking… The Horror, The Horror… Cheers
This game has been worth playing since release.
I won't trust them either, but will give them another chance to earn back some respect… But for me, that comes in the form of how they handle their next game. Fixing Cyberpunk doesn't change anything for me in that department. If they repeat the same bullcrap for their next game launch, then they haven't learned anything and haven't earned any respect. And I'm still going to be wary of them repeating the same crap until they launch a few new games where they don't.
They should let this be and finally give us Witcher 4.
I'm having a blast with it again on my rtx 3060 ti pre built system much better than my old i5 gtx 1060 6gb system. 🙂 LOVE DLSS performance mode.
looking forward to the $15 bargain bin supreme ultra gold box deluxe edition at some certain undetermined date in the future far beyond any potential position of profitability for the defunct and disgraced former company that would be by this time dispersed and absorbed by some fillthy conglomorate ameboid corporation. anything less utterly unconscionable.
short answer: No
Now that you mention it, you do have a great voice.
I'm still playing the game since day 1 on Xbox one. It's been a wild ride.
Magnificent game, like no other 🥃
Your accent is like half Aussie and half American.
my two biggest gripes about the game were missing content and the fact that many of the perks and upgraded weapons didn't behave in the way that they were described to. my favorite part of these games in combining weapons and skills in a meaningful way that allows me to min/max, which is impossible if you don't know what skills work they way they were intended. the worst part however was that there was no way they could have not known, and left the description the way it was. to me the perks in this game are a lot like the environmental; beautiful on the outside, empty and lifeless on the inside.
game will always be shit for me, but at least the anime is good
I was lucky. Got PC version with just few bugs. Love Cyberpunk.
i just wanted random cop chases through the city
The game is playable. But sadly not fixed completely.
I am from Poland. I just can not forgive them this whole lying. It was so bad, I was so disgusted. Maybe one day I will play this game, I played it on ps4 pro for 2 h and I just could not more.. too many bad feelings inside.
So I never did have the issues on PS4 Pro that people complained about. I thank that in part for my SSD that I installed. Far as I was concerned, the issue was that the system just couldn't keep up the data demand coming from the slow HDD and my SSD was just fast enough to handle it. When I got my PS5 the only issue I had was when I was finishing the game and my 60 frames in an area dropped to 3 frames and didn't fix itself until the end of the game. The new patch seems to have fixed a lot of the junk stuff and make the ray traced mode more playable.
Let's see. Cyberpunk 2077 on PC with a few choice mods and modest settings is the greatest game ever made. Cyberpunk on console specifically next-generation allows you to experience a world like no other that's still unfinished. Cyberpunk is unfinished in the perspective of there's so much potential that simply has not been exploited on console with that mention of why in the vid. Essentially if you want to live in a world that never gets old, build a 4K capable PC, install Cyberpunk and never look back.
Loved the anime and now am wondering should I buy this on sale
I had played at launch on my trusty GTX 1070, even though I disliked the horrendous grainy Screen Space Reflections I thoroughly loved that game. I had eavily specc'd in the use of Tech weapons and Pistols. my Tech sniper dis round3 million heafshot damage and my pistal also oneshotted people when shot to the head, even when using a supressor.
I had already started a 'second' playthrough, but it felt the same and decided to have some fun with cheats. to see how OP one could get. and you can stil lget fairly OP but it takes a lot more to do. However, I recently, after patch 1.6 dropped deleted all my saves to the point before I started using cheats and I tested out the build I had. To my pleasant suprise the game flet more difficult, even on the standard difficulty. Enemies felt like they pressed more and attempted to flank me a bit more than the did. But perhaps its merely felt liek that. It als ofelt liek their damage numbers had raised and mine had lowered. But.. shooting them in the head was.. odd. because i either did 50% damage to their health or merely 30%, if that. Thats when I remembered the HARDCORE22 Mod.
The HARDCORE22 Mod completely rebalances the damage system in the game, though it is not yet updated for 1.6 but it does work. the mod was updated last year though.. so.. it may not be optimal. WHat it does is it limits your health to a fixed 100 Health, it does this for any NPC in the game too. It alters the damage numbers in a way that it makes you feel VERY vulnerable. you can NOT take many hits. With my lack of armour I was dead within seconds if I was not careful. But.. So were my enemies. a headshot killed them, always. a Grenade was highly lethal. It makes the game both Faster paced and slower paced. You appoach combat totally different. your tactics change, you use way more cover, you are more careful because every fight is lethal and dangerous. Running and Gunning is over without careful planning. you have ot be FAST if you do this. This was a nice change. It felt good. DO I recommend this? I do.. but only if you like hardcore games and are willign to live with more wonky behaviour which has been reported to happen. It is NOT updated for 1.6 specifically. It is 1.6 ready so it does work. If this interests you, dear reader, you can find it on Nexusmods.
Started a new play through just recently and so far I've had a T-posing, headless V in that "new life" cutscene with Jackie, and Evelyn scooting around Judy's basement as if in a wheelchair… Otherwise it's been pretty good so far, even on my mid-tier rig. We shall see…
This mans voice is buttery as fuck
It’s $25 on ps5. I think I’m going to try it.
It’s worth playing, yes. But with there being another major patch coming out, along with a major expansion pack, why not wait a little while longer? Those will only improve what’s already good.
Worth playing? ALWAYS have been.
Completely fixed? No.
Although serious bugs are basically gone completely. Most things you will see is one or two graphical glitches.
You have such a beautiful voice haha
man i use to watch you years and years back, lol wow found u again
I returned. I recommend staying away – at least until the police overhaul comes in. At the moment, similar to Bluntly I even have a mod to disable the police system entirely, its too annoying to bother with. At this time the police or any really interesting interactions with the sandbox NPCs doesn't exist. Game looks great, plays fine? The combat is still very bland due to the Ai being just as dumb if not dumber then your classic Skyrim Ai's – the old "must have been the wind" with an arrow to the face comes to mind, just replace it with a bullet… The world still feels extremely empty. It feels like a very pretty but very empty box that lacks substance, Its still a boring experience imo. But at least you can play it. To get the most out of it you need to pump it full of mods, CDPR know this which is why they released REDMOD. If bothering with that hassle isn't your cup of tea you should stay away.
At the same time I wouldn't hold your breathe or raise your expectations either. It took them 2 years to add a transmog system after all. Set the bar very, very low.
I really loved it when it first came out. Didn’t have any problems with bugs on Series x and loved the characters and world. Did a couple playthroughs in those months. I started another playthrough when 1.5 came out but after a few hours decided I’m waiting for the DLC, let all the new content marinade and get as new an experience as possible.
