How would you guys rate the DLC?? Easy 10/10 for me!
I see V and Songbird as two sides of the same coin, both struggling to survive. However, Songbird is a highly trained, S-tier Netrunner agent, using her skills and experience to keep everything close to the chest. In a high-stakes world like PL, trust becomes incredibly ambiguous. The game tests your compassion, empathy, and everything in between.
Ultimately, Song's goal was to escape the death grip of the FIA, specifically Meyers. She believed the only way to do so was through this crazy, high-stakes plan. Unfortunately, V ended up caught in the crossfire and was forced to decide Song’s fate.
She was a tool meant to reach beyond the Blackwall, so in my eyes, Song deserved her freedom.
Glad you stuck to your guns and let the caged bird fly. Leaves me excited to see how V and Johnny wrap things up. Also, followed on twitch. cheers.
Don't worry about the "right choices". Every playthrough is unique, that's what makes it fun.
First of all I hope you enjoyed the credits of the dlc including the song and the visuals. So freaking good that imo.
Also happy you maybe want to do other endings of the dlc. Not so happy that you like to do it on twitch. To much chat blabla and to less focus on the games is how twitch usually works. So I hope you'll get the story there too and maybe edit your gameplay for an upload on youtube without the whole chat thing.
Now back to the maingame and how that will work out for V Johnny and you. 😊
I hope you will watch Edgerunners. This end of the DLC will hit you harder 💔
Damn, streamers I watch play this always going for the headshot with Reed lmao
If you shoot him in the chest, he actually drops to his knees, has some appropriate final words, and dies right there, on his knees, still upright.
Not only did you go for the killshot, you double-tapped the poor man lol
Damn, cold.
Hey Ryan, great Video as always! I think (at least for me) it wasn't about you making the "wrong" decision with going the Songbird route, I just want to see you react to everything the game has to offer (would have really loved your reaction about the AWESOME Credits Song too btw :D). I really thing your playthrough is one of the best Let's Plays of this game on YouTube, so I really want to see you react to everything. Would really like you to play every Main Game ending aswell.🙂
So don't think you made any wrong choices, I would just really love to see the Reed path at the end of the LP to see your reaction. But don't feel pressured, just wanted to suggest it. Hyped for the next Videos!
There's a way to get the "Unleash Blackwall" powers (quick hack) with the other path of the story, btw 👀
Yes, there are 4 endings where you choose who to side with twice with this being the Song-Song ending. All 4 are worth playing through later just to see the story. But there are no "Right" choices. In the end somebody wins and somebody loses.
The other endings are just as impactful. Hope you try them. This DLC is fan-freaking-tastic
For the side missions, do not stress. After the end credits, you get the option to keep playing for as long as you'd like.
Just keep your saves safe, so you can reload them and experience the different endings.
By the way, the next major save file you must keep intact, is the "point of no return". The game will notify you about that, so you can save and backup that file.
I highly suggest you go to a previous save and do the alternate choice to side with Reed. Both choices are something you absolutely need to experience. Love the videos man. Keep it up!
Dude, ignore the comments about "shoulda woulda"…
If this is your first "OG" playthrough of CP2077, go your own way and enjoy the ride. Because it's the one that will count and stick with you, no matter how many playthroughs later to explore the different choices and outcomes. Enjoy the game for what it is, blind playthrough, follow your own gut "as V", and AVOID ANY SPOILERS. That is all.
Nice waited for this one ^^
great finale of the DLC, such an amazing story and coo to see you experience the emotional rollercoaster for the first time xD And like others have said, don't stress the choices you've made, in my opinion you chose the best path (same I chose), leaving Song as a labrat for Myers.. just seems like she didn't deserve that but then again did Reed deserve this… Night City choices ig!
talking to alex after this ending made her my favorite character in the game
I just finished a playthrough a couple of days ago. I followed Songbird all the way to the spaceship then betrayed her when Reed showed up at the Shuttle. So I finally got the Tower ending instead of sending Songbird to the moon.
I needed the Tower Ending to get closer to 100% award but I have sent Songbird to the moon twice.
The Tower ending, it kicks you right in the feels and really makes you regret the choice of turning over Songbird to NUSA.
It's a cure waiting for you but it's probably not worth it after you end the game and walk away as a normal face in the crowd.
I think everyone's second guessing their decisions…is what makes you want to do new play throughs…
This was my cannon ending. Then i went and followed the other dlc path and O… M… G… Makes This ending pretty chill
This was the best gameplay I could watch, your reactions are intense and you really got into character, just like me. There is no good ending or bad ending, just your ending, your goals, and it was great to follow this journey, thank you! DLC is 1000/10
43:50 that soundtrack made me open the NOS valve , when that song started to play in game for that mission 🤣
had like 500 APM i played on max diff. ^^
Did you skip the ending Cutszene ?!?!
Would be 11/10 if you hadn't skipped the snazzy outro…
You made the best choice imo for this DLC. Songbird is basically a reflection of V, both dying due to circumstances they can’t control. You can see in the other choice how the NUSA & Myers force her to work for them, later forcing her to go past the Blackwall and ultimately sacrifice a lot of her humanity. Some people like to rage about Song lying to V, but V also did whatever it took to survive the entire game, including killing, stealing and using people. Sending her to the moon is the happy ending we wish for our V but could never attain.
At least in this ending Song wins, in the other endings nobody wins. (Besides an awesome horror sequence and some cool gear)
As I'm sure everyone has learned by now, there is no happy endings in night city. Only cinematic ones. I love this playthrough and personally, next step. I can't WAIT for you to meet Adam Smasher…
you willing to do the first playthrough, mistakes and all – I respect that, looking forward to seeing you finish the base game now. Recommendation – Johnny missions to at least have the secret ending as an option, you'll get why when the choice is presented. Otherwise, I can't wait to see your reaction to the second branch of the DLC and the ending that brings with it. In this another ending I would also recommend first improving your standing with Johnny.
During my first playthrough of the DLC I also sided with SoMi to the very end and was thoroughly impressed. But since by that time I've already finished the game 6 times I reloaded the save and sided with Reed instead. And then I was blown away. Sitting in the chair for several minutes straight after the credits were finished.
Anyways, you do you and I'm looking forward to see what's next
if phantom liberty is any indication of the quality of the next game then the future of cyberpunk is looking bright, the base game is already amazing but this dlc is something else
There's no wrong decisions in this game. Just bad decisions and worse decisions. I won't spoil what happens to the other path, but all I will say is that this is my preferred ending to the DLC, regardless if it's the bad or the worse. Who knows, maybe you'll find the good ending.
Done 3 different endings so far,, working on the fourth now
