  1. Ya know im used to how Woolie plays but Episode 14 and we are just out of the tutorial is nuts when you consider how little has actually been done. Not a complaint just kinda crazy ya know?

  2. 12:49 no sir that is "B" from the renowned franchise BRZKKR

18:23 fun fact: instead of Afghanistan and iraq and the riots they had the corporate resource wars that created the military industrial complex and the lawyer purges, similar events under completely different contexts

21:11 johnny Mnemonic is in fact Keanu Reeves and Ice T in his tank girl era of movie roles, he wouldve been knuckles if a sonic adaptation had come out at the time. Also very similar to this plot but if like johnny Mnemonic crashed out and was downloaded into the head of an equally crash out 00mer

  3. "you were killing me!"
Takemura was never killing you and never once implied he would. He saved you from a garbage dump while attempting to solve the murder of his boss. You are a witness to that murder. Arasaka tried to kill HIM for saving you instead of just putting a bullet in you and declaring the case solved. He was also involved in your physical recovery.

  4. You know, as frustrating as it is that practically an entire episode was spent on navigating menus of all sorts, he's got a point that the menus are pretty damn unintuitive in a lot of ways: so easy to forget that I experienced a lot of the same confusion he went through! Woolie truly has that game tester blood flowing through him.

  5. Really love how they portrayed Vic, and the delivery when he calls for Misty sounds like he's on the verge of sobbing.

He couldn't save Jackie, just turned around boom a dead choom.

Next thing he knows V comes in bleeding from a split skull and he patches her up from that only to find out no matter what he does she's dead.

Old dude took in two street rats, gave 'em love, gave 'em gifts, etc just to watch them get their guts stomped out at their first big chance.

I love this game. *They wrote through tears.*

  6. The false urgency presented by the game’s main story is so ridiculous and powerless given the glut of side content and other open world junk around Night City that you can waste time on with absolutely zero consequence or even really acknowledgement by the characters.

  7. I was encouraged to hear that Woolie was playing this a bit on his own time and was starting to understand it, I sure hope he has noticed the big arrows in the top right corner of each piece of equipment so he doesn't feel he needs to agonize over what to equip in the future.

  8. Woolz has taken a novel approach to the Johnny Silverhand problem. I can only surmise that he's planning to spend so much time dithering in the menu screens, that Johnny will self terminate. I know I nearly did so maybe he's onto something 😅

  9. I think it might be worth starting to edit the youtube videos – 13 episodes in and we're only just out of the tutorial and literally 2/3rds of this episode were just pointlessly spent in menus. Its basically not watchable/not worth watching. I'm starting to just skip/skim around most of the episodes/most vids on the channel in general to get to the few minutes of actual entertainment or something interesting and then leaving the video, and that can't be good effect on the channel's algo.

  10. For those who missed it during the heist. When you are guiding the flathead through the vents you get to a room where mayor Rhyne and the vice mayor are negotiating something with Arasaka agents.

  11. Woolie really doesn't understand the itemization of this game.
Don't cling onto every trash-quality gun you find on the street. Just scrap them for parts or sell them off.
Likewise, take your clothes out of your stash. Picking them up registers them for your wardrobe, then you can sell them.

As for picking a gun to use, looking at raw stats only matters between two guns of the same type. (the exact same brand of pistol, for example)
Comparing an assualt-rifle to a shotgun is like comparing apples to oranges.

If something catches your eye, try it out for a little bit. If you like it, remember the name for later. If not, sell it.
