  1. Cyberpunk 2077 has one of the best stories I have experienced in a video game, but something that always surprises me on new playthroughs is how short the main story is. It seems like you go from doing the job for the Voodoo Boys to meeting Hanako in no time at all, it almost feels like there should be some additional quests between M'ap Tann Pelen and Nocturne Op55N1 that were cut.

  2. Attempt number two to request a video breaking down Johnny's unreliable narrative

Haven't had a chance to watch this one yet so I apologize if it's in here. Love your content, keep up the great work

  3. I'm only 4mins into the video and already learned some useful info. I had no clue about all that with Jackie and his mom as Streetkid. I never played that one. Interesting how much of that one lifepath leaks into the others though. That actually is helpful info and explains quite a bit that you still go through in the other lifepaths, like Jackie's mom telling you how you lived with them – I had no clue.

  4. finally a new sam video on cyberpunk !
this is a great recap of the game
a big topic of cyberpunk is also introduced before the heist is brought through one of tbugs quotes
the greatest crimes are commited in a need for excess not necessity – aristoteles

  5. As im watching the vid, minor correction act 24:20. Johnny wasn't part of the Nuke team at all. He was the diversion team so Blackhand could plant the nuke(the presence of the roof fight in Johnny's memories is likely just so they could more effectively probe the engram for information regarding the attack)

Edit: another correction around 1:26:03, thats not Boa Boa, Boa Boa is Crispin "Squama" Weyland's father. Squama is who we see in game

  7. I am not entirely sure that CDPR is capable of making a true sequel to this. I have heard many disturbing things about them and their “new” corporate culture ever since they moved to America.

  8. Almost Two Hour video, a great excuse to start new games and play all three backgrounds all over again to make it! 😊 Of course none of us following this channel needs an excuse to start another playthrough "just because"

  9. The Mythical YT GOAT’ed Legend of 2077 has graced us with his presence once more

In all seriousness you’ve heard this a million times but thank you so much for all the time & effort for all of your videos on the weapons (& how to get them) & car rankings, you’ll never know how much this helped so many.

The game is absolutely incredible, so in depth, and it just helps so much to know all of these intricacies much easier.

  10. I'm still on my first playthrough and during the quest automatic love, I was still getting used to the game itself and completely ignored how you're supposed to play that part and snuck around found a gun on a shelf somewhere and just zeroed everyone in there until I got to what's his name

  11. As for endings, my headcanon is that DftR is what actually happened, while other endings happened… in V's head. The minutes spending waiting for the DftR options to show up is not just Johnny cooking, but also V considering other paths, and imagine how will each of them go down. And suffice to say, every single one of them have a few bitter notes:

The Devil: Corpos are corpos, hence will probably focus more on the eternal internal power struggle than saving V's life (thus "Hanako has already forgotten about you"). Also, helping a corp to this extent will likely goes against Johnny's and V's sense of morality (thus Johnny scolding V, and the most pessimistic ending before PL).

The Sun: Asking Rogue to reenact the 2023 raid will just be that, reenacting. So it's once again entry from air (just not the top this time) and dropping something down below (but this time the bomb is Alt). Then the ending gets reenacted as well: someone is lost (Rogue this time). Also, giving Johnny control when Relic overwrite is almost done can be a concern, so this is the end where Johnny get to choose who gets the body.

The Star: To put it simply, Johnny's arguement that "tarmac rats" are no match for corpo army could be true, thus the high body count during this ending, up to and including Aldocaldo leadership in the form of Saul.

The Tower (if available): This involves using an AI that is not Alt, AKA an AI nobody knows, thus unpredictable. Things can go wildly wrong without anyone being able to tell how and why. Even if the AI stays true, NUSA is still kinda shady. As a result, this ending becomes arguably the wildest ending path, in which everything changes radically.

And seeing V unable to decide "which of your friends get to die" (which makes sense from Johnny's perspective. He sees the Devil as a total no-go and had to be reminded of the Tower, leaving only the "friend dies" endings in his thoughts), Johnny points out that they can always just cut the knot: "You, me, and Arasaka tower…"
