  1. It's sad that Jon isnt into the story and world cause it's one of the best and most memorable stories I've played thru in a LONG time set in one of the most interestingly designed (visually, aesthetically and lore wise) worlds. Also it has absolutely incredible music, almost at the scale of the guardians of the galaxy game's original music (which is the epitome of all good video game music for me)

  2. "We've got another problem, which is I'm now full of Keanu Reeves." …uhhh…
"I'm sorry, you're full of Keanu Reeves and that's a problem?!" -Yea I imagine a lot of women would have that reaction.
    …😇

  3. I didn't Manage to catch the stream as I've bin so busy but a 5 hour stream is something I've bin looking for to fill my work day. Even if it only takes up half a day. Thankyou Jon & Claire! 🖤

  4. Surprised Jon is so critical of the game when I find this to be a very similar experience to Fallout 4 but with a better story. Seems like his and Claire's perception of the game has been so heavily tainted already even tho this seems like his first actual playthrough of the game. Admittedly the presence of Elden Ring doesn't help bc I do think that game does open world exploration a lot better. But CP77 is still a good game and I wish they give it a proper chance before bashing it.

I mean it's an RPG. It's meant to be played like you are V, not like GTA. If you accept a meditation quest, you can't complain when during the quest, you are meditating.

  5. There are definitely swathes of this game where I feel like Jon is allowing his preconceptions to make him overly critical of portions of the game. While I'll admit that some dialogue does sometimes go on a bit longer than it's welcome, I feel that in many cases plenty of Jon's favourite games including multiple Fallout entries are just as guilty of the same thing, and if I'm entirely honest, I personally skipped far more dialogue in Fallout than I did in Cyberpunk. In particular in older entries like 3 and New Vegas, NPCs would barely move and just stare straight into your soul while talking, at least in Cyberpunk NPCs will emote, sometimes move around, etc (although in fairness to Fallout, this was alleviated somewhat in 4, can't speak for 76).

Cyberpunk is far from a perfect game, but I do hope Jon continues to play it, either on stream or off. Because irrespective of whether he fundamentally likes it or not in the end, I feel like it still has a lot more to offer in terms of interesting narrative content (both main and side), and just discussion about how the game effectively (and in some cases ineffectively) utilises it's core components. (Also personally I just really want to see Jon play through my favourite side missions, Dream On and The Hunt.)

At the end of the day though I feel like most everyone can agree that the worst outcome would be for CDPR to drop this IP entirely. Despite it's faults I feel like Cyberpunk and it's setting have so much more to offer. For all of it's flaws, I do want more Cyberpunk, especially if it's an improved Cyberpunk that iterates on 2077's strengths.

  6. I was confused when in his first video he said that the main story has people talk so much and he's not into that. I mean, since when? He never complained when in old world blues you start off with a 30minute chat with the Think Tank.
Not sure why this bothers him like this. Seems unlike Jon.

  7. It pretty much says through the ongoing story that Silverhand is a poser and talked a big game, but did he actually achieve anything? As the game progresses, one of the best things is seeing Johnny come to terms with this. It's almost like he created a persona after he got injured as a corpo soldier in the Mexico war to get across his existential rage. If that sounds very teenage angst…it is. It's very clearly supposed to be on purpose.
