Wait, 'Leeloo jellybeans'!? Do you need a multi pass to buy em? (Looks like a new Easter egg I haven't seen yet lol) I'm gona have to hunt those down and try some.
They haven't done badly in game tbh. (And I would have said to try the pirogue down by the docks, but I have no idea which parts of the docks Panam means yet….if I find a stall, I'll tell ya, maybe it's in a dlc?) The only thing I haven't seen much of is 'kibble n bits' and 'pre-pack'
Kibble is talked about a lot in the game (at least, from what I've seen) canned, dry ect. But I haven't seen much of it about.
Its pretty much 'bachelor chow' in the dry form, probably a lot like saitan (that washed wheat gluten stuff) in cans and preformed stuff.
Cyberpunk's version of combat ration's (and I bet good old starfleet K-Rations are better too lmao)
Prepack is kind of like a MRE. Different brands, differing quality but its what you would grab a couple of packs of and shove it in your backpack on the way out the door on a gig. If you got caught by the corpo's and had to hunker down in some abandoned building, or (if you were a lucky choom) spend a couple days/weeks hidin out in a safehouse, you can bet you need a couple of boxes of prepack to help you get by (along with shower-ina-can and your fave stack of entertainment chips lol)
For a while, the rooftops of the city were green with guerilla gardeners (that was during The Red, after 2023) but some time after the 45's things got worse. Probably the aircars and dirigibles making it unsafe (and possibly raiding folks rooftop gardens, since rich folks can always ask their Fixer to pay some Solo or Merc to ah….appropriate them some fresh munchies….like damn raiders in Fallout, why spend all that effort growin the stuff yourself, when you can just take it from the gonks that did?)
I don't know much about the Cyberpunk Series but I believe one of the major foods of their franchise was various types of Kibble/Chows. Funny enough manufactured by Ralston-Purnia, the same people who make Purina Dog and Cat Chows. So think Bachelor Chow from Futurama.
i do love this game but jeez this vid makes the food look like some PS2 gameplay haha
I'm sorry but the graphics look horrid
ive had vegan cheese with broccoli artichoke and other veggies pizza before. it was pretty good! doesnt really replace a margarita pizza in my book, but it can be good if they really want it to be. not sure how good it would be cold out of a food locker though XD
I actually liked cyberpunk and the food was surprisingly important
The only thing lower in quality than the food in cyberpunk is the textures. This video on the other hand? Ultrahigh quality.
I loved the janky moments showcase.
One of the missed opportunities with this game is that there is no survival mode to give a reason for players to eat all the food in this game.
If your stamina dropped to zero when you don’t eat, then it would give a reason to eat at the restaurants.
You could have had V, when hungry, say things like, I could do with a pizza. And if you ate the food he craved, you’d get bonus stamina.
Same thing for sleeping and showering, and give players a reason to rent a hotel room, or sleep in their apartment.
For a game that was all flash over substance thr food animation looks cheap :v
just found your channel and i love it, so cozy and fun! keep it up
I'm into fake meat. Its a possitive for our environment if we stopped wasting so much on raising animals.
Good video! You forgot to cover the most important thing though.. these shrimps fresh?
Grape flavored ants 😑
Pretty sure the lack of food was less from global warming and more from a virus(possibly manufactured) that killed off most of the world's crops, and was still carried in animals. So a general purge was enacted which is why even a cat is a rare sight, and people won't touch animal meat for fear it is contaminated. But given what megacorps had to do to keep feeding everyone, I'm pretty sure regrowing crops is off the table.
This reminds me of what Blade Runner wanted to discuss. Due to the pollution, animal life mostly died. When it came to food, you’ll notice Harrison is typically eating fish or noodles. The reason, synthetic fish would’ve been the cheapest meal in this world. The filmmakers theorized If you could create synthetic robot humans, animals would’ve been attempted first. Fish would’ve been easiest to create.
Give me tofuroni on that pizza instead of the tofu tuna and were golden baby!
I would honestly prefer syntethic meat over real meat i dont really like meat
More of these!!!!!!!!
I'd love to watch more vids like this from you!
Dude, i've watched your videos during the week, you MUST have more views, i'ma try and connect you man, this is on the level of girlfriend reviews, you have your own thing going on here.
This video for example is something i've never seen anyone do, it's very immersive and i thing this could very well be it's own series
1:10 PRAISE THE SUN o/
Mm still not keen on eating synthetic meat or soy for that matter
I think you should have added insects to the recipes, considering how much bugs are in Cyperpunk!
Synthetic meat has micro plastic and sawdust
this is such a funny and well made video
Forgot pierogis, don't worry, CDPR forgot them too.
Like to think real meat from real animals being littered with diseases and unsafe for human consumption was half propaganda for corps to sell soy and soy products. Gross but both bleach and lye have been used to kill bacteria in meat before selling them off.
synthetic food is just great in the idea of not harming another living being
One of the real lore reasons that most animals, especially livestock and especially in Night City, are effectively extinct was because after the 4th Corporate War the Corporations saw people rebuilding and growing their own food and raising their own animals in the city for the first time in generations, and they wanted to retake full control of the food supply and city; They used the existence of nomads and raiders and street gangs fighting stealing and fighting gang wars over animal theft alongside animal based diseases to introduce the culls and harsh laws against pets to get rid of independent communities.
This made me realize that I still need to finish this game lol.
Avocado & artichoke pizza sounds really good. I've actually put both on my pizza.
More shocking than the food is the awful game design XD
They need to make a cyberpunk 2077 cookbook
See tho the biggest problem wasn't really even climate change it was corporate warfare fucking up the ecosystem.
So much effort was put into this video but it only got around 40k views damn
2077's food may look… sub-par, but it's way, WAY better than what people had to eat during the Time of Red: Kibble, straight-up dog food.
6:50 Blonde John Romero isn’t real, he can’t hurt you.
John Blonde Romero: 😎
I wish I had a invisible, infinite dimensional pocket behind my ass just like the NPCs have it to store soda
If anyone watched Blade Runner 2049 they'll know exactly what this shit is.
Bugs! It's fucking bugs! It's all bugs! Beetle Burgers and Pill Bug Pizzas! This is the future NOW EAT THE FUCKIN BUGS AND LOVE IT, WAGE SLAVE!
Cyberpunk's climate change impact on food supply, and the common practice of producing lab made foods sounds an awful lot like the current state of the world.
I never noticed the variety of drinks you could order. Walking through the vending machines would remind me of walking through the drink section at a gas station. Love variety.
Ever since I met up with Jackie at that noodle stand in game, I wanted to try the noodle cup he had
To be fair, calling it synthetic meat/food is confusing to the normal person.
Its lab grow meat really, its still real meat from a particular animal, its just not been roaming a field for its life, it was a part of an animal (the bits we eat) grown in a tub lol.
Although thats real life, the cyberpunk version might actually seem to be something else possibly.
great video, did a nice job with making this video, i would say that am an Asian Food kind of guy, hehe, awesome way to explain what each food taste like, i give your video a thumbs up… – CyberGod
Ngl, the locust pizza looks more appetizing than Tofu'd Tuna and Pineapple.
It’s cool you were observing food in the game like a nature documentary
Another thing about the pizza is that it has styrofoam in the pizza
