  1. Thanks for the support on this video 🙂 I used Cyberpunk v1.04. Now there are tons of ways to tweak the game for slower PCs + CDPR has dropped updates to improve performance. I'm not sure if I'll end up trying those out in the future — but I figured I would let y'all know. Hope y'all had a great Christmas!

  2. Found a PC on the side of the road in 2019, amazing parts for being thrown out on the road. It rocked an i7-2600k, Noctua NH-D14, an Asus P8Z68 motherboard with a 850 watt gold power supply with 16 gigs of 1333mhz ram. I figured how much it would cost around the era it was in and totaled over $1000 AUD. Sadly the power supply and the motherboard were broken. Gave it to a friend and made a new home for the 2600k and the nh-d14

  3. This seems more like the $32 dollar PC you don't want to build…. I mean if you hate the person your building it for…. Then its perfectly fine.. but I would not give this basket case to anyone I liked… and everyone else would get it sent to them without a return address for sender..

All joking aside I do see a positive message aside, and I'm glad you did eventually break the budget for the sake of a good outcome… I would say the message I take from this is keep your old systems alive so you can skill up on it…. and be willing to spend a little bit of money to keep those old machine running. And also after you put in the new CPU cooler and the GTX 970 that computer started to make way more sense then. these are vary old parts, but still workable and just the thing to give to someone that might be just starting on there journey with computers that will hopefully bud into a life long relationship.

  4. Enjoyed the video Oz, but as far as I could tell the only things connecting the final PC capable of running Cyberpunk 2077 at playable framerates and the original dumpster PC are the motherboard and CPU. Everything else got trashed or re-purposed (GTX 470 -> paperweight) en route.
