tldr
no path tracing, no problem
really don't even try put super resolution and frame gen especially on 1080pi, its just makes all worse
Now that is an almost flat graph… Most impressive
Happy Christmas.
A PAL50 target aint bad
damn this is impressive
Honestly this is pretty fucking impressive! If you download the path tracing mod which improves PT performance, plus HD project textures, and use optimized graphic settings (I think it's just 2-3 settings set to medium which really doesn't change visuals at all) you can probably expect 70ish fps. And for a "low" tier GPU that is massive dude.
why would they put the 8 pin right in the center of the card like that? it makes it impossible to have a really clean build without the gpu power routed right through the center of everything. put it off to the right or even on the side. direct center in front is stupid.
The crashes you were encountering were happening to me on a fresh install of 2077 no mods running on a 6950XT at the same settings as the B580 so I have no idea what the issue is beyond "it's only optimised for Nvidia"
It's amazing that this $250 card can play this game so well with the right settings. If I was building a budget PC, I'd probably pick this card at this time.
$250 and the way it looks, what more could you ask for? Honestly amazed it pulled it off at its price point, and this is path tracing we are talking about
HOLY FUCK its a god damn Christmas miracle. that little guy is getting 15fps with PT at 1080p. Nvidia count your fuckin days. I hope to Santa that we start seeing more competitive affordable GPU's. I'm not being facetious either, this is going to make so many new PC gamers so happy.
Such an amazing graphics card. ❤ Well done Intel.
Is it right, that devs optimise bad on purpoise , that you have to buy better hardware?
Shoutout to the main man Kryzzp!
Pretty decent
Your game was outdated? Where is Ray Reconstruction?
Merry Christmas fella, love the channel, been watching for many years now 🎉
I am staying with my 1080Ti, but the B580 sure is coming for the family desktop. Seems fine so far 👌
what about ARC B580 in older games like new vegas and oblivion on pcie3? nobody seems to have done this. keep up the good work Bob👍
I’m happy with my 2x Intel Arc B580 purchases for my mid tier gaming builds and the fact I got the controversial Assassins Creed: Shadows game keys FREE with them (games obviously not out yet) and got the gpus at RRP / MSRP I’m actually happy saving the ridiculous price of the game and this GPU happily plays 1080p/1440p with more than acceptable frame rates with some Ray Tracing on and has a much better looking upscaler to AMD’s FSR makes this GPU the instant go to imo 💪😎🥰👍
Path Tracing is basically unusable on anything other than a RTX 4090 or 4080.
Ray tracing is a gimmick that needs to die.
I just use the same settings as my 3080 with my B580 in this game. The 3080 is run at volt curved 1800mhz 800mv and I reduced the resolution to 3456×1944 but Intel has this display upscaler that makes it look just as good as the 4k on the 3080. And it gets every frame the 3080 can. At least when I add 100mhz to the core and 200mhz to the ram on the B580. If I try that with the 3080 it is getting loud.
the b580 has made me excite for the b750 and b770.
Looks good, would you mind doing full test of Stalker 2 please? 1080p all settings? Or perhaps 1440p and upscaling? Thank you!
path tracing b580 performance not bad because on a rx 6750xt i had about 5fps
The amazing thing is that you can activate RT pathtraicing and the graphics card doesn't die at the moment but is able to work with it. Possibly from a B770 or B780, it will be fully usable… and that's taking into account that neither the frame generation nor Intel's Low Latency are yet activated in the game.
