  1. why is gamescope running? that lowers the resolution dynamically to give better performance this is not native 1280×800 eveyone is testing with gamescope on , I can do that on windows gaming handhelds and higher fps on the Win 3. Please test with it disabled.

  2. What's up with the battery life? You're charging it and still lost 4% in 4 minutes of playtime. That's like 100 minutes of expected battery time and just ~20 minutes more than you could achieve in worst case situations(pulling 30W constantly) without charging it at all.

  3. FSR, as configured, looks terrible. Frankly, performance looked acceptable without FSR, and CP2077 appears visually outstanding, given that it’s running on a handheld.

  4. So there doesn't seem to be much of a point using FSR. Framerate is too unstable to cap the game at 60fps, and native resolution barely ever seems to drop under 30fps.
Though Cyberpunk's benchmark seems to be quite shitty, it doesn't reflect actual gameplay at all. No explosion, no physics interaction, no destruction, no driving…

  5. Thanks for this video, bud. I'm really glad to see that I'll be able to take Cyberpunk on the go (to my couch, most likely) and actually reach 45-50 fps. As a switch player, I'm used to frame caps at 30 on a 720p screen, but it's people like you that help me figure out optimal settings for best quality/performance balance in the pc space.

  6. It's kinda amazing to think about really. How far we've come. I still got a gameboy in storage. It can still run even.
Specs? 1 CPU core, 4MHz.. Screen resolution, 180 x 150 pixels. Colour? No. Brightness? None, no black lighting. 2-bit display, black, dark grey, light grey and white. Response time? Bad. RAM? 8KB working RAM, 8KB for the display. Storage? None. Well outside of the carts themselves, which could have up to 128KB.. Sound? Adorably pathetic. Input? A D-Pad, 4 buttons and an on switch. What software could you run on the OS?…. nothing. It had no OS. Basically just raw hardware that did nothing without a cart in it.
Fast forward to 2022… You can have a virtual simulation of a city that looks THIS good, running on a handheld device. Insane. The real time graphics on this battery powered device, look better than some of the CGI effects in movies made 25 years ago.

  7. To get some kind of console-like optimized experience with Cyberpunk I would set a lower TDP value to something that offer acceptable battery levels. Use a dynamic resolution targeting 30fps (which forces fsr auto) and use the gamescope fps cap at 30fps. Lower the settings which make sense, since this will increase the rendering resolution of FSR. This will allow you to get:
    – a guaranteed battery life
    – consistent 30fps frame delivery
    – highest possible image quality with the settings you choose

want the image to get sharper? lower settings. want more fidelity at the cost of a blurrier image? increase settings.

  8. What planet are you people on… I want to go there!!! 🙂
    1) If this is an indicator of how games in the near future will play on this thing… no thanks.
    2) The battery life cannot … I repeat canNOT!!!! sustain a charge… no way.. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!
    3) I understand that this is an amazing achievement for an in "the palm of your hand" device… but maybe, just maybe, we aren't meant to play PC AAA games in a form factor like this.
    4) Valve's track record on devices … says it all… controller, VR, etc… Gabe Newell is no Steve Jobs.
    5) Not a big library of games… can play on this thing.

  9. It is stuttering a lot, even when it’s pushing 60 fps…. Does not look playable at all. But there is nothing in the frame graph. You’d think the poster would at least discuss this or review the video before uploading it. Weird/

  10. If you think of it as a last gen portable console, those figures will start looking amazing.
Ans on paper atleast, this is more power than a Base PS4 and Xbox One. So 30 FPS gaming on the go seems pretty great.
I just hope Valve atleast gives an estimated date of release in my country 😩
