On the whole timeline thing Cyberpunk has an alternate timeline and cybernetics, Arasaka etc all showed up in the late 20th Century. The tabletop RPG it's based on used to be called Cyberpunk 2020. Hence why Night City's there for Johnny to wreck up in 2023.
Be sure not to progress through the main quest too quickly. You could easily blow through the main quest line in 40 hours but completing everything in the game can take over 100. The main quest can always wait. Go explore, experience everything the city has to offer. There are optional quest lines arguably as amazing as the main quest, and it would be a shame to miss out on them.
Oh man…Johnny’s theme really is something else. It was stuck in my head so much throughout the year, along with all the original samurai songs, that my Spotify wrapped this year was literally all Samurai and Johnny and V’s themes
Okay, gonna be honest with you, you are making a huge mistake by streaming this game. Your attention is divided and anyone who wants to ruin it can just do something like donate or like or cheer or whatever during an important moment in the game to completely take your attention off of it. Streaming story-heavy games is just bad, I get that streaming is probably your main source of viewers but come on.
