  1. I wonder why the GPU utilization percentage varies between 94% and 99% in 4k with a 14900k, when with such a CPU, theoretically the GPU should be pushed to its maximum utilization all the time. Should we conclude that even with a 14900k, the 4090 remains CPU limited? Likewise, I saw a comparison on the game between a 13900k and a 14900k, and strangely the 13900k had better performance, especially on the 0.1% low and the 1% low. All this worries me a little because if these CPUs are not able to push the 4090 to 99% usage 100% of the time in 4k, we risk having a big bottleneck with the future 5090 which will be even more powerful, and may require a CPU change to be able to be used to its maximum.

  2. man how do you manage MSI to show the hot spot and junction temperature on the display , the only thing i can get is GPU temp in monitoring options ( i have RTX4090 TUF as well )

  3. I have the same processor and video card, the processor is below 30w and I have the game set to 4K ultra & psycho.
    CPU 30W, GPU 330W consumption, at 100FPS avg. MSI 4090 Ventus OC.
    I turned off the E-cores in the bios and limited the processor to 4.7GHZ, ram 3600Mhz
    Gigabyte Z790 UD DDR4
    No bullshit!

  4. I dont get it. i have 4090 with 7800x3d, 32 gb 6000 ddr5 , ssd , auros b650 with 1500 psu and yet with dlss quality ,4k and path tracing my fps drop to 40s and when i remove path tracing i get 60s but it drops to 56 in afterlife and in high traffic areas.
