  1. How did they "lie about what the basics would be"? Aside from marketing lingo they were upfront about what the game would be and were for the entirety of the game's marketing trying to slow down the hype train. Every cut feature they were upfront about cutting. The only outright lie was the game's performance on outdated hardware.

  2. Also why did they show Jackie dying in the reveal trailer for Cyberpunk, but portray him as being a romantic interest for the pov character? Did they think we'd forget?

  3. I've downloaded it before buying it, cause I am broke as hell and games are expensive. And I am glad I did, didn't even played it for more then 3 hours. So yeah, I've decided not to buy it fairly quick.

  4. Ngl gotta say adam is being unreasonable .Obviously cyberpunk is some janky shit, and for a elitist like adam I'm shocked he even gave it a six. Hell I don't even see issue with him dropping after refining his taste with yakuza. But his criticism should remain game wise, not cause he wanted to hop on the (justified) outrage bandwagon. All you're doing is shitting on dev's who worked hard only to get shafted by corporate exec's

  5. I really liked cyberpunk. I really liked the story and the world is so impressive, but empty. My rating went down over time too. I would give it now a 8/10

  6. Many people say we hyped the game to a unreasonable manner, but seeing all the promises from their mouths, I disagree. If they didn’t want huge expectations, don’t say shit like “we made the most alive world in any video game ever.”

  7. That's what those Cyberpunk 2077 fanboys trying to cope with it don't understand. Even with all of the bugs and glitches fixed it's still an above-average at best video game with open-world elements from start to finish that are so outdated, limited, and poor it's almost on par with the first Watch Dogs where there was literally nothing in the world to do outside of the campaign other than to hack random stuff for no reason at all and one gun store where you can buy like four weapons total. There are zero role-playing elements to it and even the shiny graphics are a bit outdated. The first-person view wasn't a great choice either and it didn't add much of anything. It should've been a choice like the GTA V remastered did with first-person and third-person. I'm fine with the side quests not being much to write home about as everyone said as long as the video game and the world are so innovative and investing that it makes you want to play through them as if it was the future in real life as they advertised it to be, but it wasn't and is just a lesser GTA V with bright lights, so you're left with almost nothing. The only thing you can call excellent is the main story, but even that is nothing spectacular or exceptional. A 4-5/10 game all the way. What they did is probably illegal I would say and is a million times worse than what No Man's Sky did as this time it was intentional.

I hope Microsoft buys them and all of the people in charge that made their company a living hell as the workers who quit talked about online and who were mainly in charge of this biggest disaster and disappointment of all time gets released. I think they could make a video game as masterful as Cyberpunk 2077 was advertised to be with all of those bastards gone and if they were given a fresh start. It's clear that Cyberpunk 2077 didn't work out for them while in development with not having the most experience with that type of open-world video game yet and was on pause for a while, but the people in charge and the people funding them wanted it to happen anyway and they just put together what they could while false advertising it since the greedy bastards leading the project knew how much hype there was surrounding it after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and they wanted to capitalize on it and manipulate the fans. Studios get such a limited amount of time these days to work on important details and for fixing bugs and glitches so with this project already being in chaos with them trying to put something together they sure as heck didn't have the time to work on that stuff. That's also why there are huge differences between video games like Dead Rising 1 and Dead Rising 4. Tight schedules are the biggest killer in the industry today.

  8. I don't know chief, comparing Yakuza 0 to Cyberpunk is like comparing a warm chocolate chip brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to a spoonful of vanilla ice cream.

  9. Glad people are giving this game the proper shit it deserves. Esspecially cause for a while people didnt acknowledge what they promised vs what they delivered (at least people that werent follwing it for a while). Like it being an actual rpg.

  10. the same here… from 6 to 3 in a few days…. very sad. But its a logical ending of 2020 as a whole…this whole year was one big fuck up just like this game. So it fits …

  11. I haven't actually played it, but it just doesn't look very good. The character and level design, the music and the lighting, are all mediocre and fail to say "cyberpunk" to me.
