  1. As one of the few that didn't encounter many bugs it wasn't bad, started off strong in the beginning and towards the end things felt very rushed but just from story/gameplay its good but not great.

  2. I actually just bought Cyberpunk 2077 from CDKEYS yesterday, lol. (haven't played it yet)

I told myself I would buy it if it was $20 or less. I mean… I'll pay $20 for a few good laughs induced by all of the bugs & glitches.

It's like going to the casino with $20, sitting at slot-machine for 3 hours, getting a free drink every 10 minutes, all while SLOWLY gambling that $20. You used the entertainment in a way in which it wasn't intended, sure… but were nevertheless, you were entertained.

P.S. – Heard mod community really improved/fixed a lot in the game. Which is actually why I gave it a shot.

  3. I bought the limited edition version of the game for the Xbox one and I was truly excited before hand. Having played the game it’s format and story was awesome but it was a fail and it broke my heart.

  4. The game would still be painfully average even if it launched at 4k 60fps on consoles and was 100% bug/glitch free.

The tech issues are the least of this games problems, it's the lack of customisation, the lack of interaction with the world, the lack of any RPG elements, those are the real issues.

  5. You know I am HOPING that cyberpunk is going to be one of those games that will become a decent game in like 3 years when the game is finally completed through updates (if it ever is), maybe it'll even be dare I say good.

  6. Biggest deal breaker for me was choices that doesn't change anything.

"This guy is gonna die, what are you gonna do?

    A) He dies the same way as you'd do nothing.
    B) He dies the same way as you'd do nothing.
    C) He dies the same way as you'd do nothing.
    D) He dies the same way as you'd do nothing.

  7. I think the problem is that this game was released before it was ready, if it was released this year it would have been one cool game. There seem to be a lot of systems that were cut from it. From what i gleamed seems like the head developers kept stuffing a bunch of stuff in the game to see what stuck, corporate got fed up with it and told them to release what was ready. So instead of being in the polishing phase they had just came out of development, on the other hand if their hand was not forced they would never release because they kept adding stuff and removing stuff instead of finishing the product. What they should have done was release on PC wittch was OKish and 6 months latter on consoles. I bought the game on pc last week and been playing it, and haven't got any weird bug, the game is fun not as ground breaking as i would expect but quite fun.

  8. This is the same studio that made The Witcher 3.
They don't deserve any remorse for the criticism they got. They knew what they were doing and they KNEW what people expected of them.

  9. The game was changed from third person to first, flying cars got scrapped, and many people who worked on the Witcher moved on when management changed what they had spent years getting good at, into something else.

  10. One thing that seems unforgivably lazy to me is that the sleep dart weapon on the games wiki and anywhere else its depicted is seen as an actual tranquilizer dart and is said to function as such, but in game is a big blacked out version of the arm grenade and functions exactly the same as the arm grenade, except for the fact that enemies blown up by it are technically still alive.

So this means instead of making a sleep dart (which really isn't hard to do in terms of game design/coding etc), they literally copy & pasted the arm rocket properties in place of the dart and then practically took the image/model of the arm grenade into Microsoft paint and used the bucket tool to cover it black so it's technically not a rocket and can be marketed as a sleep dart.

  11. The most frustrating thing to me other than the obvious about this game is that even if it wasn't buggy, it is nothing close to what they advertised in terms of player choice and making your own story. So they make a really broken, heavily watered down version of what they wanted and crunched their team to do it… It's so dumb.

  12. I don't remember if the CDPR hack happened before this was recorded, but amongst internal files they actually found vids showcasing many bugs, so they were obviously aware of how bad the game was (not like it's hard to notice), but it's still funny to think the devs could make long compilations of bugs and it still released
Also on it receiving positive reviews at release, CDPR gaslighted reviewers claiming a day 1 patch would fix most bugs so reviewers overlooked many many things

  13. Never understood these corporations and entities well always try to go "All in" with these new game IPs without considering the very high risk factor. That all these deals, merchandises and etc. can all go down the drain if the game does not recieve well with the public. Like put all your eggs in one very risky basket.
