  1. Disappointed.

Mostly given up on it. I’ll play the next gen version when it comes out

But am I excited for it? Honestly I’m not anticipating it really at all. Moved onto other games at this point. Cyberpunk just hasn’t had the staying power Witcher 3 did for me, I still play that to this day and love all the time I spend with it.

  2. I stopped caring a long time ago. The fact is, as it’s quite evident, the cyber punk game that was intended and that I wanted to play based off of Mike’s tabletop RPG as well as the fundamental foundations of their previous project with witcher3… that game was scrapped and replaced with a linear short story Johnny silver and the action adventure game. And for good or bad, this Johnny action adventure game cannot in no way shape or form compared to the cyber punk RPG in my opinion, at least not for me. And leaderships very late decision on making this change in 2018 has led to countless amounts of consequences and issues especially in its rushed state Since they only had a year and a half to work on n release this new genre game. You made a good point here LKM on the topic of improvements. People want naturally I think the intended and original cyberpunk RPG that had been worked on for 4 to 5 years since 2018 n prior. So there is natural hope that with time we will get back version of the game… But this is where people fail to realize what happened.. WE WILL NEVER GET THAT RPG GAME…. IT WAS SCRAPPED…. IT WAS REPLACED WITH A DIFFERENT GAME , DIFFERENT GENRE OF A ACTION ADVENTURE GAME. This action adventure game was rushed out the door because it only had a year and a half of work done towards it when leader ship made this decision in late 2018. A decision many developers did not agree with and left the company over both before and after. You cannot change now the design that you have. We have a action adventure game, the design is the design. If you could have the original cyber punk RPG version… They would not have even changed the label of the project in late 2018 to this action adventure game instead. They would’ve left that alone. But leader ship knew for legal reasons they had to make this label change off of technicalities so as to not get sued or whatever… But they also did not announce this between late 2018 and the release in 2020 because they knew because were expecting and basing their pre-orders and sales off of the original intended cyber punk RPG, so they kept it as a quiet change. So the improvements for this action adventure game are simply improvements to the action adventure game. You are not going to get the cyber punk RPG that was intended ever for this game because that game was scrapped and replaced with The current Johnny silver hand action adventure game. That’s reality. The design is a design and you cannot change that. The only way you could get the cyber punk RPG… Is if they just made a new game with that design… Again, but this time not scrap it😂
But it is what it is, and we are not likely to see paid expansion actual content until late 2022 or more than likely early 2023. Until then it’s just gonna be working on Bringing their action adventure game to a more complete finished state, which is just so funny to me now. It’s a bad joke.

    Consequences CDPR leader ship… Consequences

  3. Looks like I'm among those few, who saw that coming. CDPR is already treading on a minefield which is the community. They need to think carefully about each next move they're gonna make and i cannot blame them for that cause, i would do the same. Right about now all there is to do, is to wait. I'm pretty sure that they won't leave CP like that because it's just their 4th game , come on they need it to work , they have to finally deliver, otherwise their next game, whatever it'll be , just won't sell. In other words business as usual.

Oh and yeah …. CP expansions….. 2023 mark my words.

  4. CDPR is such a joke, I had never played anything from them before CP but man I can’t wait for this game to be playable & have its next gen upgrade, I wanna give it another chance but not rn :/

  5. The game is what it is and will never fullfill what I thought it would be. It's not about the bugs (didn't bother me that much on PC) or the gameplay (looks great on paper but felt short when applied in the actual game). it's about the characters. V, Panam and Johnny are just …tedious and heavy? Jackie was the perfect sidekick for V and was making the game more alive.

  6. I honestly think they’re gonna do what they did with anthem and just slowly let the game die but at the same time probably working on the new Witcher and I would agree with it let this game die move onto the Witcher get it out in the next two years things Will be mostly good again 🤷‍♂️

  7. I have played about 1200hrs on XBSX and loved lots about the game, but there are issues, bugs, glitches, and missing content and i did feel let down, but i also relise that yes CDPR really fucked up, but we all do in life, so hoping that the future gets brighter with them, because i really do love the way they make story driven games. PS I have shelved the game for now and will see what's coming.

  8. It's okey for me. Looks like they aiming for one big update reparing the game and adding some new stuff insted of number of smaller ones. Which should work for atracting players back to play the game. This just need to be playtested realy well so ther will be no more bugs. I think it would be better if they will say what we should expect at this point, not in terms of when things happen, but what they working on exactly. I mean what mechanics they improving, titles of dlc and oficial confirm that ther will be expansions.

  9. Wow this is….quite baffling Doom eternal that released in the same year got 2 expansion dlcs, 6 free master levels and a free single player horde mode they did that while working at home.

By 2022 people have probably moved on from Cyberpunk, 2021 was a perfect year to fix the game since not much was going on in gaming in 2022 you have companies releasing their big guns like

    Elden ring
    Zelda Botw 2
    Starfield
    FF 16
    Dying light 2
    HZD forbidden west
    Halo infinite
    GOW Ragnarok
    Stalker 2
    Ghostwire tokyo

Cyberpunk is a small fry in comparison I’m pretty sure people will even be more hyped for the Witcher 3 next gen update and it makes me laugh that they haven’t yet cancelled the multiplayer.

  10. While it would be nice to get more content and improvements soon, I can wait if it means it will be more polished.
And despite the game not being all they promised (that was overly ambitious) I still like the game.

  11. Thanks for the continual update videos, keep them going. I am an investor in CDPR, believe it or not with some trading I am actually up on the stock this year, but have been buying more recently on the drop. Do you think it will recover starting next year? I believe.

  12. LKM, Thank you so much for continuing to objectively cover CDPR/CP2077 news. I value your content and input. I'm not surprised by the delays. Per @LegacyKillaHD , "This is what 'No Crunch' looks like" and given that, with the Next Gen Updates, CDPR is rebuilding ALL the base systems in the game (per Tyler McVicker) while still repairing bugs, it will probably take a while. Thanks again LKM.

  13. It's a shame they couldn't just cut the last gen consoles and focus on making it for next gen and PC. They probably had deals, especially with Microsoft, that prevented that. Not to mention that sweet pre-order money that was too tempting to pass up on.
As things are looking now, the game was released not only one, but two years too early.

  14. It's been now almost a year since I finished the game and I can say I'm starting to get an itch to play the game again, but I'm disappointed because I expected that by now, we would have an expansion, and it would be totally fixed, better AI, better police, better traffic system, but it's still lacking in all these departments. So I guess I would hold back until next year when we have more patches. I really wish the game to get a massive revival like No man's sky did, and become a great game it was supposed to be in the first place, but right now this promise is taking longer than I expected.

  15. I don't even know why Cyberpunk is on last get consoles tbh. It's like imagine back in '07 if Bungie tried to get Halo 3 running on the OG Xbox. It's just dumb to even attempt it.

  16. Hah, really? No one sees what's coming? How do you solve the unsolvable problem of pissed and vocal shareholders whom you'd never be able to please enough no matter what updates you'd release? You get them to be shareholders of EA, and get to take an executive job somewhere in EA for yourself and your buddies as a bonus. The game…. well, if there is any interest left after the take over… maybe…

  17. Called it the second they announced it for the year 2021. At this point expect it 2023. I hope we still get a patch or something since the game is years away from being anything close to what was shown. If want that no mans sky we’re gonna have to have our patience tested without expecting any rewards when the expansions come.
