Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the biggest botched game releases in recent memory. But I still believe that it can end up being a great game, if CD Projekt RED is willing to put the effort in. Here’s why!

  1. I never played the game because coverage around it was just overwhelmingly negative but, now they've released a few patches it seems more "playable" ill give it a try

  2. CDProjektRed cashed their reputation for a payday. I don't know about you, but I believe in the old quote by Will Rogers – “It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation, but you can lose it in a minute.” The blunder caused by poor management and blatent lies from CDProjektRed will be talked about for years to come.

  3. So, first, I super love the story and the theme of the world. I genuinely became attached to many characters as well. I enjoyed the game a great deal on my PS4 Pro even though it would frame dip and textures works fail to load for upwards of a few minutes making it look like Roblox. My main problem is the irony of a story painting a scathing picture of corporate exploitation being in a game that was sold on platforms it simply did not run on. I don't mean just didn't run acceptably (and the PS4 Pro performance is not acceptable for a AAA game pricetag) but just…not at all like on the base PS4s that we own. The game crashed every couple minutes, textures almost never loaded correctly, and frame rates would grind to a halt while the PS4 fan screamed a plea for a merciful death. If they'd have only released this on PC and PS5/Whatever Xbox is called now then maybe it wouldn't have been such a big issue. But they sold consumers a game that many of them could not play and that's gross.
Love the art but hate the corporate exploitation that drove it to release the way it did.
At least Bethesda games are playable on the platforms they are released on in spite of their bugs.
Great video, I love seeing other people's insight on this because my love for the story and characters has me torn on my final opinion of the game overall.

  5. Alot of people just believed the sound bites. The game is really good. I enjoyed my playthrough alot. Got the game day one. After the second update thats when the bugs became noticable and started crashing. But i still played the game. And was really confused why some people couldnt get past the bugs. My personal problem was saving. Id forget and id have to put another 5 hrs. Once theres new dlc and more story ill be back. Im REAL excited for the future of cyberpunk 2077.

  6. I firmly believe that the game will end up being one of the best open world RPGs ever once all the additional expansion content and dlc has been released. There are some things that Cyberpunk does that are just way beyond any other game and people just do not give it the credit it deserves, because it's the "cool" thing to hate on it.
Compare the way dialogue is presented in Cyberpunk to games like Skyrim or Fallout for example, it's so much more immersive in Cyberpunk. You can move around during dialogue, interact with objects and have seamless conversations with multiple characters etc.
Combat, quest design and characters are also way ahead of comparable RPGs in my opinion.

  7. It’s just got a few bad bugs and it just can’t help but be less than what was promised n for what we got this is a great game but if ur on a ps4 base console it’s a rough experience but I just got a PS5 n that even had bugs n I’ve had more crashes on PS5 than I did on my ps4 pro. I’ve played since day one and coming from someone who played the pen n paper cp2020 -Red it’s a great game but hate it’s wasn’t just let it be ready when it was ready like they said in the very beginning,We would wait till it was ready why ? Because we’re fans, an to be honest about it’s. About the corporate world and the power of money and greed . I’m a fan of Cdpr and of the witcher 3 and I’m still a fan. But what we got day one wasn’t what they promised we would get when it was actually ready. But it’s the way of the world I suppose anyways yeah so First time seeing your work and the enthusiasm is energetic. Enjoyed the video keep up the good work:)

  8. I love the game despite needing some sharpening and improvements. There's so much about the game that clicked just right. The atmosphere, the characters, the writing, the sound, it's all top notch and memorable. The baseline is strong and something that can be built upon, rocky start aside.

  9. Great editing. Did you do it yourself?
I spent 2 weeks playing this game so I have discovered all the main and side missions and most quests. Love Nightcity, just a gorgeous sandbox in which they could add new characters and ideas.

  10. Bugs, glitches, false promises, blah blah blah. Just play, you fools! xD
1,500 hours total, 7 playthroughs later and I'm confident to say it's probably my Game of the Year… It's one of those story games that sticks with you forever, imo. Great atmosphere and lore if you enjoy in-game reading (as you should, if you're a fan of the original Table-Top RPG) Badass music, great characters, good combat, tons of side-missions with unique stories. And great potential for RPG elements if you actually treat it like an RPG, by stepping into the character's shoes.
