CD Projekt Red issued an apology to fans after the botched launch of the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077. They’re even recommending players return the game. But is that even possible? And does that make everything okay? We don’t think so.

  1. They lied. They are just a bunch of laying people saying u can return the game lol 😂 every store policy is once u open it no returns if it’s not working properly exchange for the exact same game. Let’s see how the ps5 version will look and play

  2. for the digital version on xbox, it was really easy to ask for a refund via the Microsoft official Web site, you log into your account and track down the purchase of the game and ask for a refund, that's it…ohh and I played the game for like 8 hours. They confirmed the refund within 1 hour. May buy it again when the next-gen version comes out.

  3. It's a single-player game. And to return it to only buy it later is silly. If it is too broken, put it down and wait until it's fixed. Me personally I have run into very few issues (PC). Nothing game-breaking and will be continuing to play it.

  4. Game is a shambles of course they knew what state it was in when released. And anyone who tries to defend it or blame the previous gen of consoles is nothing more than a clueless corporate boot licker.

It isnt just the bugs either, what pisses me off more is the MASSIVE list of stripped out features, they've pretty much turned the city into a barren wasteland with zero interaction. Its a shame that the bugs are taking attention away from the fact that this game is missing so many damn features

  5. Not just their fault, but the pressure from the fans as well. Bitching and complaining that the game is taking too long. Then it comes out mad buggy and then y'all are bitching and complaining about that…
So what do you guys want? Rushed work or work well done?

  6. I have been playing on the PS5. I was playing through slowly in the days post launch sinking maybe an hour a day into it every day. I had zero issues all the way up until the end of the prologue (so about 4-5 hours). In the moments leading up to the end of the prologue, I experienced the first crash. Upon rebooting the game, it was like an entirely different game. Bugs and Glitches galore. Followed by yet another glitch about 30-45 minutes later. At this point I chose to call it a night. At the end of the day my take on this game is still positive. I understand the frustration on consoles, but having gotten to play the game for as long as I did with no issues, I have no doubt that once this game is fully fixed, that it will be a high quality game. I guess I just encourage everyone dealing with the issues, I am also now experiencing to have patience.

  7. I actually have a unpopular opinion, they should have not launched at all platforms at the same time, that actually happens, Doom Eternal was announced for Switch same day as other platforms and took months to get to the nintendo console, why? cuz it needed more work. My understanding is that they felt the pressure to release after so many delays, OKAY, but they should have just launched for whatever platforms that the game is actually enjoyable, like on PC… I’m playing on PC, not bug free but nice, enjoying.
