  1. The marketing won’t change. They’ve made so much money they’ll do the same again and fan body will lap it up. CDPR are a trash company who make trash games (Witcher 3) is their only decent game

  2. Here's a free tip for CDPR: How about getting an actual professional to handle the PR instead of having a bunch of bosses with their fantasies of rivalling Rockstar announcing features that have not been finalized, giving interviews every other week promising shit without ever consulting anyone from the dev team to see what's actually feasible to achieve with the resources they have. All Cyberpunk DLC better be free, I'm not putting a dime more into Cyberpunk and definitely not pre ordering anything from CDPR ever again.

  3. Cyberpunk & Witcher 3 are designed exactly in a similar way

Only difference is Witcher 3 NPCs had daily life schedule programmed
(It was possible 15yrs ago in Oblivion & Gothic btw)

Both these games utilize plethora of points of interests/map markers to fill the map, those are basically SET PIECES.

The NPC design isn't even close to Rock star's Red dead 2 where NPCs remember the previous encounter with the player.

None of CD project games feature anything like A-life simulation, Radiant AI to create unpredictable random encounters.

Going from Novigrad to Oxenfurt, Geralt will face the same enemies he faced 10 times before

But going from Rookie village to Chernobyl NPP player may face a patrolling bandit or military group or both or a PSI storm that he didn't encounter covering the same area 10 times before. He may get saved by group of friendly faction members, but that depends on the world simulation i.e. only if faction members are patrolling that area

But Cyberpunk was marketed as next generation action adventure instead of RPG(at least somewhat)
William Gibson aka father of cyberpunk told Cyberpunk 2077 looks like a knock off GTA with sci fi reskin because that's what all those trailer made it look like.
