  1. I binged it in a day. Loved it. Booted the game back up for the first time in over a year… Immediately hit a broken quest, spent three hours trying every possible way to get the quest to complete, turned it back off and won't be touching it again until the expansion if even then.

  3. people blew the cyberpunk game being bad out of proportion. One its a solid game, much more enjoyable than say skyrim in terms of combat and character building that actual feels different to play, I.E unmodded melee in skyrim feels horrible, is a bulk of the gameplay and only delivers I think 2 different melee attacks, maybe 3 (not that it matters with much more braindead AI than cyberpunk and awful scaling), unmodded magic is very limited and is basically two spells, bolts and breaths of different elements, and stealth is a disaster that breaks the game especially combined with blacksmithing and enchanting.

    The main issues with the cyberpunk are;
    police spawning, and police chases which doesn't really matter if you just do the plethora of pretty well written quests with well directed scenes instead of static guy that looks like trash talking to you while everyone in the background stops moving.

    The junkyard which was atrocious, and the last gen releases being just trash. also some undelivered promises of scale which no one should've really thought was real considering the last game was the witcher 3 which only had quests and then like 5 different enemy types, which this also has. but in a more condensed setting than Witcher 3s.

    people wanted future GTA, I wanted a good rpg with actual gameplay mechanics and not just some shit sandbox with bad gameplay like GTA, thats what they gave us.

  4. If someone could let me know what music gets that funky little slide in around 11:13 when people’s names get thrown at us rapid-fire, I’d appreciate it. Last time I heard it was in the Dandadan video and I adore that little rambling that happens at the same time the music plays.
    Love the video, great stuff.

  5. Aye scamboli i have a manga that'll tickle you fancy, " Watashi no Musuko ga Isekai Tensei shitappoi " i think it would be best if you go into this blind. It is fairly new and it is definitely sleeper hit!

  6. The buggyness of the game seems to be some kind of quantum flux state. I played it from day 1, I clocked in 100+hrs, it was never buggier than your average open world release game. GTA V had me actually stuck and losing progress because of a glitch, Cyberpunk never did. Yeah there was floating stuff or other visual issues breaking your immersion every now and then. That was the most noticeable thing for me. Did not prevent me from enjoying the game in the least.

    I also know the bandwagoning and media attacks against CDPR were ridiculous and it was already happening way before release, or even any of the delays. This game was under attack before anyone had any idea how it's going to turn out. And that's kinda sus. You should consider what it means when international conglomerates are suddenly targeting this one media product out of Poland, without any apparent motive.

    The actual bad thing CDPR did was lying to console users. Yes I agree that sucks. But Cyberpunk 2077 isn't a bad game because it doesn't run on inferior hardware. It was very clearly next gen from the ground up. I was already saying this on forums right after we saw the open world for the first time. "It's not gonna run on old gen consoles." It was obvious to me. From my POV buying a PS4 copy of Cyberpunk was like buying jet fuel for a diesel car. If you think that's going to go all right for you, the blame probably lies on you more than the gas station.

  7. I don't think it's fair to make a judgement of the game in 2022 based on where it was in 2020. It's a completely different game at this point, close to what it ought to have been at launch, and the core of it– the writing has always been stellar. CDPR have spent the better part of 2 years atoning for their sins but Youtubers just can't get off the tired cyberpunk bashing wagon.

  8. Ok but thats footage from like 2 years ago…. the game has worked fine on pc since before the show came out and honestly it was just on par with the game , which is a good story set in an amazing world

    People need to give up on the "der her gam broke " bs since its clearly been fixed

  9. The show made me love the world of Cyberpunk even more, but also made me like the game less, because it revealed some glaring issues in game's worldbuilding e.g. up until the show I never really get a deal about cyberpsychosis. Yes, I've read a lot of shards, mails, etc. in game that were supposed to paint the picture of the trade off between cyberware and sanity, but coupled with how cyberware is handled gameplay wise it seemed really superficial, as V can put a lot into their body and there's literally no downsides.

    I also felt that in the game the story like the one in Edgerunners would work better than V's story. The urgency and seriousness of V's condition makes it really hard to experience the game outside of the main story, without feeling it being extremely unrealistic. I mean, I really like Peralez or Judy's storylines, but does V really have a time to be helping a to-be mayor or liberating the Clouds, while literally dying and searching for the cure?
