  2. I'm intrigued to see if Rogue Trader lives up to OwlCat's previous games. Fingers crossed.

Boltgun mostly made me want to play a chapter of Suburban Space Marines. In the Grim Dark Far Future… the Imperium of Man holds countless worlds… hive worlds where the sky is a poisonous yellow, feudal worlds where the lords tithe their sons to be taken away and implanted with geneseeds….. and the Suburb World Karen Prime, where the entire surface of the world is suburbs. Imagine your space marine announcing "I'm off to pick up the kids from soccer practice!" as they drive off in "the minivan" Landraider, vroom vroom, heavy bolters going dakka dakka all the way.

  3. I'm a sucker for RPG's like the Rogue Trader game appears to be, so that is probably what I'm the most interested in. I'm not fast enough to keep up with the kiddos in FPS games anymore, but Shootas Blood and Teef does look like something my and my middle-aged friends could have some fun playing as co-op.

  4. Ok, lets start off with the dreadnought. Love that dude. Kind of reminds me of something from Robotech in a way. Yeah, I was a HUGE Robotech fan from back in the day LOL.

Total war Warhammer III Immortal Empires Open Beta has some awesome cinematics, hopefully the game play is on the same level.

Shootas, Blood and Teef looks like a game I could play and laugh hysterically at. To me, that's a good game, nuff said LOL.

Bolt Gun is looking very interesting as well. something about those retro shooters kinda trips my trigger. Reminds me of the old Doom or Duke Nukem shooters from back in the day. Yeah, I'm 50, I can say that LOL.

The one that piqued my interest the most was Rouge Trader. It looks like something I could really sink my teeth into. to me, it kind of has that Mass Effect vibe to it of sorts.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Board Game is something I might be looking into as well. Like you, I'm very interested in the game mechanics and how things will be managed, but it's also different enough to at least give it a look see.

  5. Owlcat's previous rpgs have been terrible.

    Unimaginative, repetitive, boxy levels.

Gameplay elements that are byzantine and don't work.

Quests that just end in the middle of a storyline with not contribution to the overall story.

Kingmaker has a 7% completion rate on Steam because it became so tedious, no one wanted to finish it. I'm one of those players and I wish I'd never backed their Kickstarter.

Rogue Trader is going to be garbage.

  6. That last Pathfinder game managed to eat up 185 hours of my life while I was working full time. I can't wait to see how Owlcat handles some grimdark Star Trek.
