  1. I was sold cyberpunk under false pretenses. Selling a unfinished product & false advertising is against the law! This is an injustice to everyone who bought this game that never existed! It's almost absolutely nothing compared to what it was sold to me, such a exaggerated lie must come with consequences.

  2. So the moral of the story is promise your ass off and don’t bother even coming close to promises and release half finished games. The risk is low and reward is high. Just let your fans beta test your games they pay full price for. This will only encourage CDPR type behavior.

  3. I feel like this sets a horrible precedent for other major studios. 1.Overhype a game's features through marketing 2.Sell a ton of copies 3. Release it unfinished 4.Say you'll work on fixing the game even though you already knew it was in an unacceptable state 5. Pay off the small legal fees if you get sued for a botched launch. CDPR may invest some of their money back into Cyberpunk, but compared to how much they made, this can't even be called a slap on the wrist. There are plenty of AAA studios who will do the same thing if they know it's this easy to get away with misleading advertising. Why would they care about their public reputations if they stand to gain so much more money than they stand to lose?

  4. What a bad joke 1.85 mil. They learned that the can get away with false advertisement and low quality products. This will set a great example in the wonderful gaming industry for the paragons of truth love and humanity lile EA , Activision-Blizzard, Ubisoft, and so on. And some fools still defending corpos lile this, who only care about money.

  5. The fact that there was even a lawsuit to begin with is laughable. They might only have to pay out 1.8 million officially, but that doesn’t account for all the legal fees that likely were well beyond double that. This isn’t a victory for them, just another black eye.

  6. Wait so settling a lawsuit for $1.85 million which they deserved for actually lying and breaking numerous promises and delivering a broken mess at launch is 'good news' for its future, NOICE!! So this is the times that we live in.

  7. This guys has “massive cyberpunk news” literally twice a day. Never seen someone commit so heavy to a game that isn’t even that good. Must be getting paid be CDProjectRed to keep talking about this game this much. Should just change the name of the channel to “Cyberpunk 2077 Daily News” Lol

  8. Good news?? Dude they lied so many times and broke so many promises and if settling the case for $1.85 million and them not admitting their fault is good news then these are some dark times that we live in.

  9. i don't care about the lawsuit.. i just want to see the game fixed and also the broken mission i came across when you take Rogue on a date and the car disapears and Rogue just stands there and you can't call another car

  10. Question? Did CDPR hired bunch of writers which keep writing about future of this futuristic game instead hiring people which could fix this game. I guess printing B.S is cheaper then fixing game.

  12. Gotta love the irony of the situation. The investors/board push for release when the game isn't ready, then that contingent sues the company/dev side for a failed launch. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot or cutting off the nose to spite the face.

  13. No amount of money is worth the bad reputation that CDPR now has, once a shining beacon….now a dull bauble, it will take the 500+mill they made to crawl out of the gutter to get any good rep from the players and fans of their future games…time will tell.

  14. This pissess me off that they won't pay for what they done they falsely marketed the game and show off stuff in demos that didn't end up in the game and they get to get away with it deceiving and lying to everyone.

  15. The main reason why the audience size on consoles is so low is due to the scarcity of next gen game systems. Not many gamers have the latest and greatest which is frustrating considering a full year has passed since they released. At this point i wont be able to get a series x until 2023-2024.

  16. Whelp…this will embolden all publishers to lie and release broken games. Take a 1 million dollar hit after profiting hundreds of millions, that's way too easy of a business decision.

  17. Man I love you channel and all the new stuff that you release for open world games, but can you stop acting like everything is such a bombshell news like seriously five people already reported it before you did.

Or at least if you wanted to be bombshell news then just report it when it comes out.

  18. This game should NEVER have been on consoles in the 1st place! All that did was take resources away from the PC development and resulted in the shit show that 2077 is. I blame the consoles for a lot of if not most of the cut content !

  19. Crazy how the former bastions of good customer service have just set the precedent that you can screw over your fans and face no repercussions. Only AAA 3rd party studios we can really trust are From Software and Atlus. Not much beyond that.

  20. These Plaintiffs, have made a ton of money on 2077 as well. This was never going to go anywhere to a change in the future. The Investors probably got caught "requesting" the early launch as well

  21. The lawsuit was not taking anything away from developers working. They would not be in the courtroom away from work or stressing over payouts as it wouldnt have been from their pockets. I really want the CDPR heads to feel the sting from their betrayal with this game as much as possible, and money is the only thing these people listen to. They have done nothing but profit astronomically from this. I don't know if any lessons will truly be learned, or to the extent they should be.
