  1. Modders have started to add new assest to the game now rather than just replacing current ones. There is a stand alone car mod that adds in a new vehicle, the is a mod called Virtual Atelier that allows modders to add in virtual stores with clothing that does not replace current clothing. The same modder that does Enhanced Netrunners and Lifepath bonus also has a mod called level scaling and balancing, a must mod that allows you to make the game much harder and balance out V's later game over power. There is a climate change mod that allows for changing weather, another for draw distance boost, if you like the first equip weapon animation there is a mod that makes that happen whenever you equip a weapon except in combat. You also have a mod called Nano Drone which lets you to equip a drone for recon and hack enemies through it. One tip, if you use Vortex remember that not all mods will work if you allow Vortex to automatically install the mod, sometimes you have to put them in manually, also make sure you always back up your saves before modding and only put in a few at time, then test them as its possible some will conflict with others and cause problems, if you just have a few then you can figure out which is causing a problem. On the whole I have found most mods seem to work together unless the modder states differently, I have over 80 installed and have not had a problem. Modding Cyberpunk is way less hassle than Fallout 4 for example. If you are about to start modding I would wait until patch 1.5 as new updates tend to break mods and for sure it will break Cyber Engine Tweaks/Redscript and therfore will break all the mods that rely on them. I have found that once those two mods are updated which they always are all the mods that rely on them will work again without any fiddling with other mods. Cyberpunk is a great game at its core, just brutally flawed and mods sort out most of those problems.

  2. So am I guessing that the Nomads, which you forgot to mention, do they have de-buffs, to Millitec and Rafins, and get extra Buffs to the other enemies in Night city itself , seeing as they live out of the city, do they deal extra damage with fire etc . Need to know.

  3. Cyberpunk 2077 is actually a really solid game for a somewhat new engine using new assets, not too mention a unique setting and theme (there is no other game like it tbh). If modders keep doing their amazing jobs and CDPR wouldn't stop any further development of the game (which seems like what they've been doing), Cyberpunk 2077 might become one of the best game ever made

  4. Blanket buffs and debuffs is just as weak as not making the mod in the first place.

One of the first things done isn't the buffs but weapon levelling. This was just a silly waste of time from the word go. Legendary weapons that are not legendary but are ready to be legendary is just wasteful in game mechanics. So many more useful things could have been done.

  5. Not here trying to plug but love this game and want everyone to have the same playthrough I did, so if anyone is generally interested in modding and is confused about doing it, feel free to check out my 72+ Mod guide on my channel. It'll teach you everything you need to know. Timestamps in the description, and mod names and links in the pinned comments Enjoy night city samurai.

  6. ugh.. watching someone unload entire clips on someone's head and see them soak the damage is so off-putting.

i much preferred GTAV or RDR2 gunplay combat, where a headshot is usually a kill.

  7. If you like AI Netrunners Enhanced, you might also enjoy Enhanced Netrunning. It makes it so you can’t just quickhack any enemy by default. Instead, you have to first non-lethally incapacitate an enemy, stand over them, and breach their protocol. Alternatively, you have to connect to an open port in the area. It feels more immersive and rewards stealth and strategy over hacking people left and right without effort.

  8. the first one is utter garbage. It would be way smarter to … say use or make new game mechanics based entirely on a fair playing field, no matter your background, but still make different factions extinct.

Take the voodoo boys as an example. If the game makes it harder (and uses more RAM) to hack players with higher intelligence, then this would be great. The playing field is equal for all but voodoo boys always come with very high intelligence … as they should. This makes the game interesting, fun, and adds alot more depth, credibility, and immersion.

If you just make it so that you use more rams whenever you hack voodoo boys because they're voodoo boys … the game IS better than it is now, but it's taken the crappy path of crappy console strategy games. The game is more granular, dumbed down, and less immersive. And THIS is not what you want an epic triple A game to be. It's what turns X-Com into XCom, Starcraft1 into Starcraft 2. Sure it's still a great game, but just look at how quickly the starcraft2 esport died compared to 1.

Again, the same for your second recommended mod. You DON'T want to go down the path of making the game more granular and dumbing it down. There are better ways to make clothing more distinct so you don't look like a rainbow trout like you do in world of warcraft.

  9. I'd like to see more and more studios open their games up to modding. Mods can extend the life of a game exponentially; see FO4 and Skyrim. However I do understand why they don't, you gotta protect your IPs

  10. I have to say. This is the most hopeful I've been regarding this game. It's largely because your content. This video in particular. I'm gonna try those. With my luck, the new patch will come out and everything will need to be patched to work again. But hey! The new content patch will be out. Works both ways.

  11. I'm so happy that the passionate modding community is fixing this game so it is the way it should had been. I will wait for patch 1.5 to see what CDPR will come with, but I guess I will end up downloading the mega mod with the police and gangs mods

  12. My common complaint with these mods is how the enemies look more bullet spongy by default (as a result of how long they take to die combined with their reactions while being damaged and shot at) than they otherwise would be in the base game with the proper luck of scaling. Disencourages the more fast-paced, aggressive and satisfying combat. Quick-hacking is still extremely clunky to games that implemented similar systems, such as Syndicate 2012. Still, I think that it's a great idea to have each enemy be different and require more tactics and consideration to fight them – But it should be logical as an FPS. Valentinos shouldn't tank hits like they do given their clothing because of an RPG mechanic that isn't as concrete in this genre, like Morrowind's "miss chances". A.I., enemy behaviors and general logic should be more important.
STALKER solved all of these issues. Take a look at the Monolith faction and how dangerous they are. They should serve as a template for Cyberpunk's corpos. Thankfully, with how modifiable and customizable lots of these mods are, it's possible.
