As we uncover Somi’s path in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, we’ll witness the critical moments that sculpted her into the formidable being she is today. Her transformation didn’t happen overnight; it was a gradual and tumultuous process marked by pivotal decisions and harrowing betrayals. The journey begins with her early encounters in the underground world of netrunning, where her innate talent swiftly drew both admiration and perilous attention.
Songbird’s tale isn’t merely about her skill as a hacker—it’s a chronicle of personal sacrifice and moral ambiguities. Her evolution from an independent, spirited teenager to an indispensable asset for powerful entities like the Federal Intelligence Agency (FIA) is rife with dramatic shifts. The FIA saw in her a potential superweapon—an unparalleled force capable of bending digital realms to their will.

It felt downright dirty to betray Reed and Alex
It's not that I want to help So Mi; I just want to see Myers lose.
Reed is, at the end of the day, loyal to Myers and the NUSA. He can lie to himself all he wants but when all is said and done he's going to cowtow to Myers' desires.
I don’t understand the narrative that songbird doesn’t care about death civilians or the people she kills. Not only is it completely wrong, but it feels disingenuous criticism when the other characters/choice cares even less.
Songbird is one of my fav characters in CyberPunk 🙂
I hope we will see songbird in the future games.
The real evil here is NUSA.
I can’t stand her. Song messages you while you’re dying, recruits you to save the president. In exchange, she promises to save your life. Turns out she set the whole thing up,
Watching now ……
Damn. I didn't think about her in that way, huh.
