Yo wtf, youtube been hoeing me. I've been subbed for awhile and I just now got a notification.
As somebody who is religious but chill about it , it felt distasteful more than it was imparting any great message or piece of thought. It was interesting in its premise alone though, also like how youve adapted the channel nice job!
This video caused a lot of "editor's block" for me. I'm happy that I got it done and I'm pleased with the product. What do you make of the Sinnerman Quest? I'd love to know!
Also, I needed to reupload the video due to thumbnail mismatches and some minor sfx adjustments. Thanks!
Getting it out of the way, so happy to see you back!
This mission by far had the largest impact on me but I'd forgotten why. Though religious topics like this do fascinate me, now I know it was more the uncomfortability.
The world we live in takes advantage of anything that will draw eyes and having these mixed perspectives on murder, repentance and entertainment gave me a whole new conversation…before I knew it I was helping a man crucify himself and standing in a dead-silent studio with what felt like real blood on my hands.
I'll add that it felt extra personal since friends of mine hadn't even known of the mission.
Edit: turns out you've posted videos in the last few months 🫠 stupid ass yt
the fact that johnny literally threatens to never talk to you again is kinda funny
I used to go along with everything but nailing him to the cross. I did a playthru where I befriended him fully and participated in everything he asked. Once he passes some of the crew are standing around crying and praying. It is a crazy atmosphere and I was kinda shocked how hard it grabbed me by the feels. The River quest is a GREAT piece of writing but since it is always in the back of my head that I'll shortly be rejecting him as a romance partner (lol) it doesnt have the same impact for me that Sinnerman does now everytime I play the game. Also if you have Phantom Liberty its a good idea to complete Sinnerman prior as a "good" outcome there affects a couple of interactions in the TooLina quest (easy dialogue option to convince Lina to scrool with Tool and an unmarked quest after in front of FourthWall studios – where you crucify Joshua – where Lina and Tool are making a red carpet appearance because Rachel signed them after you talked them up to her.
I nailed one nail and couldn't do the rest
