Welp, this takes the phrase "life imitating art" to a whole new level.

Big companies who wants to buy CD project like Microsoft or Amazon might have something to do with it. It’s technique used by companies to force people into a tight position where they have to sell or lose a lot.
That's the end of an era for CDPR. Was good while it lasted.
Can someone explain to me what is the source code and why anyone would want it, what it could be used for??
good for them, if they cant make good game let somebody else try
Well I know one game that's never going to disappear into the Mists of History
I do hope they can recover from this.
I can't say I know how all this feels.
lets just pretend outer worlds was cyberpunk
Bruh. CD PR just can't catch a break!
I feel like this is a way for us to feel bad about them. Nawww
About the last part isn’t it always like that, bottom level enployees are the first to take on defaults while the money for any success goes straight to the top.
This is just getting out of hand now. Normally I refrain from commenting on videos but to see all this hate is just upsetting. I can name a number of triple A titles that screwed us over constantly with underdeveloped games but I guess like anything else these days, jumping on the hate train is the new norm, even it means fucking something up that can still be potentially good. No mans sky for example is brilliant now and it was pretty bad when it was released initially. The gaming community used to be better than this but now it feels like it is just going downhill from here.
i hope it gets leaked
Man this cyberpunk stuff is getting so bad that you can't even restart. The damage has already been done
So, that just gave game developer's more reason to quit the company, to force them to stop fixing Cyberpunk 2077 and leaving it rotting.
But that's just gonna make their lives a living hell, unless some company will somehow "hire" them to develop a "new game" that they're "planning" to make, but somehow "lost" their workers because of a "company issue".
Or maybe I'm wrong here and I'm thinking too much. =)
Wrong the Dev give upp there rights than when they sing the contract to work so its belong the "Upper Ups" and and for that they steal from the right people!
Not a big deal. I mean USA fed was hacked. SSI was hacked, well fargo, and so on. Employees are just bystandards. Dont blame the hacker, blame the weak security . They didnt invest in the best.
When you are able to hack like a God but Grammer is horrible. You know they maxed out a particular skill tree
hacker want to fix their buggy game maybe ahah
Didn't this happen a few years ago with a chinese game that was made out of stolen content?
They not only didnt spend enough time polishing their game they didnt spend enough time securing their own servers. In retrospect, im not overly surprised.
I bet chinese game companies would be buying those source codes using bitcoins…and leapfrog from making crappy online games to AAAA titles just like that
it was criminal letting people buy the broken game but some how that's fine
is no-one else gonna mention how Yong pronounced the word 'guarantor'?
'Gworanter?'
or
'Ga-ran-tor'
CDPR DESERVED THIS!
Yep still on the hate part of the hype-hate-forget-remember cycle in this comment section…
That’s an awkward way to say “pawned”…
Game still runs at 20fps on my PC, the game and the devs can go fuck themselves.
Elon Musk
I bet the hackers were like " if Cdprojekt red can't put it's code to good use by making a game as big as cyberpunk work , maybe someone on the Dark web will"
hmmm, makes game about corporations monitizing everything. Corporation bad, taks advantage of consumers, fucking over developers. Same company get hacked, get data stolen and auctioned. HMMMMMM
To be honest, if they just didn't lie
You are clown
They should have sold it themselves, made money for the lawsuits lel
I wonder if they got in this way??
55 E9 BD 1C BD BD
E9 55 1C E9 55 55
E9 BD BD 1C E9 1C
BD E9 1C 55 E9 BD
7A E9 BD E9 7A 1C
Just curious, who would buy this and take the risk of being sued for using stolen source code?
The buyers are going to be severely disappointed when they run that source code for the first time.
honestly, even if the cyperpunk release was bad, they didn't deserve it, and I feel bad for them
So what do you gain buy buying the source cod? And Doesn't cdpr have copies.
What is with this cursed game?!
