  1. CDPR: the all against all studio, bite more than can chew, the story itself is good, the city is pretty but is shallow, the score is ok, NieR replicant will win anyway, but "best RPG" it ain´t work chief, fun fact; Adam from YMS starts playing Yakuza 0 after CP2077 and seeing how the few blocks of Kamurocho give more play and fun value than night city is shocking even lowering the already low score he give, and my PS4 crash more times while I play it than the years I have the console, game awards by nominating it just tell how less thay care about gaming, but hey I hope some nice trailers and cringe moments!

  2. Edit OUT the burps and farts man. For fuck's sake people. Gaming already has enough stigma attached to it and frankly I don't have any desire to see a fat man's flatulence.

  3. I like the game I played it on my Xbox series X and PS5 no problem on either of those systems on day 1 if you were playing on the Xbox one or PS4 that’s your problem it’s just like saying you want to play street fighter V on your old graphics card you had in 2009 never changed the graphics card still the same one is the game going to run the way it supposed to the answer is no the graphics card in the Xbox one and PS4 are now weak go get the Xbox series x and PS5 snd Nvidia 3090 graphics card if any games run bad then go complain the game plays stupid it needs to be fixed

  4. The only category i could see cyberpunk winning is best music. Even though there were and still are a lot of issues with the game itself, it does have some good music!

Best RPG though? hmm…..If they had kept all the cool mechanics in the game that we were shown during one of the first reveal trailers (the wall climbing/running and ricocheting/homing bullets) it probably could have won that category. (Edit, after looking more closely to that RPG list…..all of the games mentioned are leaning more towards A-RPG with the exception of SMT5. But i understand that having 2-3 different category's of essentially the same genre would get pretty muddy.)

At the end of the day, if cyberpunk had everything going right for it; no bugs, full game, all of that cut content, it could have easily had the potential to be GOTY. I just hope CDPR takes this lesson seriously and comes back with another great game, whatever that may be.

  5. Rich, please bring the issues with Skyrim Anniversary Edition to light. People paid for the upgrade only to have their saves corrupted and unable to save further. Some people have even reported that they can't play the game at all!

Bethesda cannot keep getting away with this anti consumer nonsense.

  6. This is such a bad precedent to set to make companies want to push games out even sooner, cause hey yeah we might of released a broken game, but we can still get awarded for it so why not? I'm sure in many ways this game is great and has gotten better since last year, but Its like, well we might as well have GTA definitive trilogy up for some awards too by this logic. They want to have a "comeback kid" category to recognize how much better a game has gotten since launch, then by all means do that. But I heavily disagree that Cyberpunk 2077 should be up for any other potential reward when they screwed the pooch so badly last year.

  7. When it was released and bugfest happening. I told it still will be nominated, nobody believed back then…

I will not be even slightly surprised if it will get one or two awards 😀 SO HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTT!

  8. I will never trust the game awards ever again especially since ghost of Tsushima lost game of the year it absolutely deserved and should have one and also the fact that doom eternal got robbed It should have got at least shooter of the year But if there’s one game that I think deserves game of the year is Metroid Dread

  9. I find the soundtrack nomination is very fair. The game's music is awesome regardless if the game itself fell of a cliff and hit every branch on the way down. The RPG one, however, is a total joke.

  10. You gamers that rush to be "day one adopters" and "pre-order freaks" are the ones (the majority) that have induced this phenomena of games being released unfinished. In its current patch phase this game is very fun and a complete experience.

  11. Let’s look at some of the other rpgs that came out this year that didn’t get nominated ; Bravely Default II, Neo TWEWY, Atelier Ryza 2, Solasta: Crown of the Magister, Disgaea 6, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Hades. Probably more I’m forgetting about too. Cyberpunk wouldn’t deserve the nomination in any year, but especially not in a year with so many actually good rpgs.

  12. My favorite thing to watch for Game Awards is the Content Creator of the year and making all the nominations people like nobody knows (except JackSepticEye). This year they have dream as a nomination and it's hilarious on how 90% of the internet treats him like a sad joke but he's being nominated.
