  1. And how is jedi survivor at 1080p medium working for you? Forspoken? Hogwarts? Tlou1? At launch there is so many games that this card ruins. I'd take used rx 6800 – in europe is for similar money and you get double raster performance, 256bit, pciex16 and 16gb ram. 6800 would work for you for years. Imagine how many games would crash to windows a year or two from now. And I've played 45 + FG upscaled to 80 and it felt like 45fps cause keyboard and mouse updates so movement updates at 45fps rate.

  2. Yeah, apparently these YouTubers didn't realize I'm still running a 1660 TI… With a i7 4770, ddr3 😢 I would love to have this card. Thanks for covering this.

  3. The problem is what 400$ can get you otherwise? There are better cards to buy. The 4060TI depending on the game can lose to the 3060TI, watch the reviews, we are talking about numbers, we already have a bunch of games that are unplayable with 8GB. The only thing they improved is features wise, AV1 and DLSS3. True DLSS3 can get you to try overdrive mode, but I wouldn't call that playing. Ultra Performance is a mess, not even usable in 4K, and you cannot compare fps between DLSS3 and standard, they are not the same thing and I think you know it. This is plain misinformation, if Nvidia asked you to pump this card, it's ok, but just say it in the video please. This card should cost 200$ max.

  4. I agree that you shouldn't (always) trust what others say on the internet. For example people were giving only positive reviews for a speaker Creative T60 and when I tried it it sounded worse than my older ones. People also spit on NFS The Run, I played it and loved it.

Perhaps it's also about not getting paid to talk positive about certain product(s) and horse's mouth (someone famous or something) confirms it sucks, then middleman also says it sucks and so it spreads online. This as you can see disregards the truth because of this lacking of money/other incentive placement on giving a honest review.

  5. Even with framegen you had dips down to 32 fps. Cyberpunk is a last gen game so 8 Gb is sufficient, games being released this gen are more demanding with 8Gb struggling. Eg, I was using 16 Gb of VRAM with TLOU. I'm a fan of Nvidia, but they are selling you a card with the performance of the last generation for more money and relying on DLSS/framegen to pick up the slack.

  6. Im impressed I must admit – Would want to aim for 55-60 FPS minimum imo however for driving / action scenes. One thing to note is the 8gb ram … its low. for many newer games it wont cut it – but I was equally impressed by a 2060 RTX 12gb that I fitted on a old 8th gen i7 Intel – could run 1080p games on ultra, etc…

  7. I think you misunderstood the criticism. RTX 4060ti is a GREAT product… in isolation. But reviewing compute chips doesn't work this way. Pretty much every modern GPU is an amazing product and a technological marvel. The whole drama about latest GPUs is in comparison to products from previous generation. The raw performance per $ improvement over previous gen is perhaps the lowest in the entire history of Nvidia for this product. There are some rare examples of 3060ti beating it, which is something that never happened before (the same category card). When Intel started doing this more than 10 years ago we had a decade of total stagnation in CPUs. People see where this is going and are just sad about it. The argument about it still being a great upgrade for a lot of PCs is reasonable, but only if you ignore the fact that GPUs from previous gen are still available to buy and even more attractive for people with limited budgets.
