  1. Hey Chooms, need some feedback. In this video I show you the text files relating to Bartmoss found in the game. I assume that someone can either a) mute the audio and read them b) pause the video and read them. Is that ok, or do viewers want me to read them? Thanks

  2. Man, gota love his sense of humour…..confetti, insults in Japanese and all.
Considering his pet, I wonder if he was a fan of Dri'zzt Do'urden? That description reminds me of his partner, the kitty with the tenticles.
We know he loved old SciFi, made Spider watch star wars a new hope lol. Maybe he was also an old fantasy fan too.

  3. I really enjoyed this quest and the other quest with Nix.

I randomly entered it when I thought done all side quest. I just randomly farming and went to a place been to before and went through the computers and it gave me the location.

Wouldn’t have minded it to be longer and more. Also, really like Nix character and shame didn’t get more with him.

  4. Kazuliski, you bloody legend.
Been tracing packets I see without any packetloss.. Nova! Sniffed these out in real time eh, you are one hell of a dedicated deckhead, glad to see we have common interests.
CDPR corpos have taken an interest too, hard work pays off.
Keep up the nova work choom, about time the culture vultures put your name in the screamsheets for the right reason.

  5. Saw a theory that Bartmoss wasn't actually dead until you open the fridge and take his deck. When you find him he could be deep in the net using the box to stay cool, because there's some weird things about how he's found: his body isn't as deteriorated as it should be. And the ice cubes are still frozen, even when floating around in water that should be melting them. This means one of two things: either that the fridge hasn't turned off or faltered at alllll in 50+ years, ORRR someone is keeping it on/keeps filling it up for him. Maybe Spider Murphy since there's hints she still out there, and the two knew/respected each other?

Or maybe he has some secret deal with Rogue; she was around when he was being hunted, and as a merc/rising fixer she would be after the bounty along with half the city. Maybe she found him first and made a deal: keeps him alive and keeps it a secret in exchange for information/netrunning favors. Would be quite an asset for her to have the world's formerly best and most wanted netrunner, now presumed dead, up her sleeve at any time.
You find out when looking for Hellman that Arasaka/Takemura could not find him for weeks, and they didn't even know Kang Tao has him until you do. If Arasaka couldn't find him, and Kang Tao is that great at hiding him, who else would have the ability to find him, and so quickly?

Sure, Johnny and V mention his stench, but he could smell just as bad if he's hardly left the box for 50 years for a shower, for fear of being recognized/captured. Not to mention his body is probably always running hot and sweating from netrunning. Not exactly room for a toilet inside either. Sitting in a stew of ice water and your own bodily fluids for 50 years, hardly changing it out, could certainly smell like death. Maybe Rogue herself, or someone she would have to trust a lottt goes out there to leave food/water every few days to keep him alive, since his body is frozen and he can only netrun now.

Or maybe he has someone under the control of one of his neural implants, make them come out and do what he needs done to stay alive. Whatever's going on here, with the ice not melting and his body being in better condition than it should, I'm convinced he has only died very recently, or at the least someone's kept that box powered on waayy longer than we're lead to believe.

Plus, if later confronted by Spider or Rogue about killing Bartmoss in a DLC or something, it'd be kind of hilarious to see either of their reactions to V telling them it was Johnny's idea/he convinced V to do it just to take his stuff lmao
