Today we will be talking about the infamous Cyberpunk 2077. As you all might know this game was released pretty much unfinished. People weren’t even calling it up to alpha standards. Gamebreaking bugs and glitches, save files corrupting, content not being in the game while it was all promised on paper. This game was an absolute disaster.

But how is Cyberpunk 2077 now? What are the fixes, is it actually playable and most importantly, is it worth buying almost 2 years after release. The short answer is yes, if you can deal with a few minor bugs here and there. I personally believe that it will still take a couple of months before this game is up to standards with what was promised, but there has been a major improvement and if you’re a fan of the game, it’s def worth checking it out.

Let me start off by saying that all the footage you will see in this video is captured in-game by me. No fancy scene edits, no fancy advertisement footage, all raw in-game footage. I am running the game on ultra graphic settings combined with ultra raytracing and let me say, this game looks amazing. And you might be thinking ‘well, my pc cant handle those settings’ and you might actually be wrong. You see, Cyberpunk 2077 has this weird mechanic where if you turn down the graphic settings, the game actually runs worse, but if you want to be 100% sure I’d suggest checking out the system requirements.

So the game looks incredible, but what about actual gameplay? I gotta say, in the last 8 hours of playing I have counted how many times the game bugged out or glitched. The answer is 3 times. 2 times where an enemy would glitch through an inanimate object and once where I drew my weapon and it automatically started firing. Other than that I can safely say that I have not encountered any bugs or glitches that could hinder the gaming experience.

There’s been a major improvement on immersion, NPC’s have their own dialog, they’re doing their own things. The city doesn’t feel empty anymore. The battle mechanic has been greatly improved upon. All-in-all I would rate it a 7/10. I would give the game a higher score if there was more variety to the npc’s look, because sometimes you can see the a character standing 3 feet next to it’s identical twin.

When it comes to storyline and missions I have never felt more immersed. This game does an incredible job of making you feel like every decision you make matters, which is what I would expect from a good open world game.

All in all I can safely say I’d recommend getting back on Cyberpunk 2077, or if you haven’t played it yet, now is a good time to start. More updates and patches are on the way, and I’m sure that one day this game will be near perfection, however, it will never live up to the fake hype that was spread around it. But at least we have Keanu Reeves.
