Quest Director plays Cyberpunk 2077! #55

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

After the release of patch 1.6 and Edgerunners anime a lot of new players came back to the game or visited Nigth City for the first time! We did chat about it and played more of side content today.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  1. Been here since the beginning and the game has always been fucking awesome but you’ve definitely taken it up a few levels since then, I love the new wardrobe feature, going back to all the shops and buying sick new clothes, the edge runner quest in Kabuki was awesome.

I’m hyped for Phantom Liberty and can’t wait to see what’s in store.

  2. Skoro już anime wyszło można zapytać czy muzyka do anime została wybrana dopiero po stworzeniu całego soundtracku do gry czy już w 2020 było wiadome które utwory będą w owym anime ? Pozdro i dzięki za stream-a jak zawsze

  3. You know, Pawel, I would much prefer to see a Dev Studio f*** things up whilst trying to do something that is entirely new for them (for instance, moving from 3rd person to 1st person, from Fantasy to Sci-fi, from fixed protagonist to less fixed protagonist), rather than just keep churning out the same game every other year…..& just barely succeeding at that.

  4. I'm glad people appreciate Cyberpunk now, because the devs who worked on this game deserve these kind words, but I hope this comeback doesn't make anyone at the top feel too comfortable and find that in the future it is possible to afford a similar situation. After the premiere of Cyberpunk, you have faced so many problems that this situation should not be repeated and I believe that in the future it will not only be important to ensure the appropriate technical quality of your games, but above all to meet the high expectations of players regarding the quality of games. I'm just a bit worried about it when I read comments like "In fact, the game has always been great, only some haters have had trouble with some trivialities." Well, it did not look like that, such people want to praise the game and your work on fixing it, but in my opinion they only hurt the case, because they can lead to a situation in which management's faults will be passed, because the fans will always forgive them/explain actions/say, that the critics are haters, etc. I know you don't like She-Hulk, and neither do I, and it hurts to see some Twitter commentators just praising everything that Marvel Studios do. They are not real fans for me. A fan imo should expect someone to progress and learn from mistakes, criticize when it's necessary and praise when it's worth it. Without it, we stagnate.
I believe that Phantom Liberty will be the best possible expansion, but even more, I hope that the next Witcher will not repeat some of the disadvantages of the W3 and Cyberpunk regarding, for example, the construction of the open world or gameplay, and instead, it will follow the path of the recent great open-world games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or Elden Ring and will raise the bar in case of exploration or side activities (not side quests) once more. This would be the greatest apologies and thanks for the second chance players are giving to Cyberpunk that you can provide.
    Powodzenia!

  5. The only thing i hate, but still love about CDPR is how effortlessly they give me depression from a media and that medias music. First never fade away, now i really want to stay at your house. You guys just play with our feeling like that. But it does show how well you guys write stories to make us so closely connected with them.

  6. I got the game on base PS4 but didn't get too far due to the issues, i upgraded to a Series S and recently picked up the game again after the 60fps patch. I'm loving it, the story is amazing, the attention to detail is next level and the combat is so fun. Its great to see the public sentiment change after all your hard work.

Will the current style of content patches continue after the expansion? Or is the expansion the end of this current games life cycle in terms of development?

  7. 1:36:56 this reminds me of the "midgard mishaps" video that God of war released on the official Sony YouTube channel. They collected their funny pre release bug videos and officially released them. It's a really funny video and more Devs should do the same I think.
Please add in the hotdogburger bike from the cyberpunk pre release bug video. We need it!

  8. Hey Pawel, just wanted to say a few things this week… Sorry for the long text. So, whatever you guys did for Cyberware 01 after Patch 1.6, it's freakin' great! Now it properly cuts through the hair on the sides of the head, instead of overlapping and constantly, I'm guessing, "Z fighting" … Spawning alpha textures, maybe? 🙂 Anyway, please tell the team responsible to do the same system for eyebrows now, so we can have proper eyebrows slits when using Cyberware 01, because it looks much more like V from the trailers, and I'm a HUGE fan of that 😎 Clearly, the team is aware of what needs to be done, as they've already fixed it for the hair, but I just wanna make sure they don't overlook the eyebrows. Speaking of V from the trailers, please add the double hoop earrings as seen on Male V at E3, on his left ear. I believe they already exist in the game files. And maybe a few more solid colour variations for hair? So, like, just plain brown, for example. Currently, male V's hair colour from the front cover (you know, the one with a yellow background?) is impossible to re-create in-game. In that promotional material, his back and sides were of the same colour as the top part of his hair, meaning, like a dirty blond / light brown. Currently in-game, many of the lighter hair colours are two-tone. Thank you for reading.

Also, I understand DLSS 3.0 will be RTX 40xx series only, but I'd like to know if the upcoming RTX: Overdrive Mode will be available to older RTX cards, such as 20xx & 30xx series?

And sorry for taking up your time, but there's one more thing… So, correct me if I'm wrong, but were you responsible for Meredith Stout's romance? I can't remember if you said that on a past stream… Anyway, if you're not, I will try to submit my issue to CDPR's Customer Support, but if you were , then I wanted to bring this to your attention directly. When she messages you and tells you to meet her at the No Tell Motel, you're supposed to reply with "I'll be there" … but since Patch 1.5, I believe, the prompt to send the message gets automatically skipped (it's visible, and it happens very quick) and the quest starts anyway. Originally, I was gonna send the issue to Customer Support, but it's asking for a save file, and I don't have a save file from that point anymore. Lemme know, choom.

  9. Please rethink the decision to make only one DLC. We need another DLC with the Crystal Palace / New Ending for saving V / Morgan Blackhand / Mr. Blue Eyes etc. There are so many unanswered Questions. Withholding information and speculating on third party websites is not that cool as you think imo since the game does not have all the pieces of the puzzle.

  11. I don't know if you will ever see this message, i wasn't on your streams since day 1, but i've played the game since day 1 and i think i was from the 5% of people who fucking enjoyed the game so much, i still play it from time to time just to see my V, and kill some gonks, and now that you guys get the hype you deserve i'm so damn happy for you, when you guys were the target for hatred and mean posts i felt like it was targeted to me too, just because i enjoyed the game, but i'm so happy that you guys didn't give up on the game, keep it up, night city means alot to me.

  12. Thank you for the stream, Pawel!
The song at the beginnig surprised me this time, some change is a nice thing 🙂

I'll say this again, and I said it a million times I know, but Cyberpunk is great, and you at CDPR are too for sticking to it and improving it further! I'm looking forward for what the future will bring 🤘

    Have a great week!

  13. God it's insane the amount of genius who bought this game thinking it's some futuristic GTA to get chased by cops and drive over npcs in the streets. It's like saying Skyrim is a bad game because it's more realistic in RDR1 when you get chased by guards or fall of your horse, the average gamer is so dumb

  14. I'm genuinely happy for you, Pawel, and for all the hard-working chooms at CDPR. You all deserve the recognition you're getting right now. Godspeed with all your future endeavours, guys. Your talents are both obvious and amazing. Stay beautiful and creative. Keep making cool shit. Excelsior. ❤❤❤

  15. I know you cannot talk about future content, Pawel, but I just wanted to say that I hope Wakako, Mr Hands, Dino & Dakota get a bit more love in regards to Gigs in future Patches and the Expansion. I always feel like their line of Gigs are over way too quick!

  16. Thank you so much for honing this gem, big heart to your team. It would be nice addition to get more rpg elements like sitting in a bar while sipping a drink or like 3rd person animations where u "smoke" or call someone. Something that puts your character more to 3rd person view. I understand that 3rd person gameplay maybe has some engine problems and doesn't work well. But short animations should be fine? Like on outdoors. But seriously thanks for this awesome game<3

  17. I can't say it'll be easy to forgive how badly the release of Cyberpunk 2077 was and how the company failed it on all levels and then kept quiet about it until it flopped on release. Personally I hope for me dlcs after phantom liberty as night city was an amazing setting and while I honestly enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 as a whole, I do wish that someone on the team had seen how Yakuza does it's world in terms of mini-games, karaoke, racing, etc, and that BD's could have been better via having more unique or risqué ones. But overall I liked it and I hope for a sequel one day.

Also I'm still sad that parkour never made the cut.

  18. Until Edgerunners, I always thought it odd how quickly people were able to write these text messages…..then I saw that they're literally THINKING the messages, not typing them. That makes so much more sense.

  19. You need to understand one thing. This game is still piece of shit. We came back because trigger drawed a legendary filter on this game. They showed us a true legend David Martinez. The game after 1.6 patch still tons of bugs. Until now we can not paint our gun, car, and color of outfits. Then we knew that phantom liberty probably will be the only dlc we are getting then you guys will dump the game. I bought the fking premium edition. Do you know how many money is that? Cyberpunk 2077 and EA Anthem are the biggest scams in the game industry so far.
