Quest Director plays Cyberpunk 2077! #46

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

The adventure this time took us to City Center, where we have started awaiting us Gigs and faced cyberpsychos, while exploring threads of game development.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  1. I heard rumours that the next big expansion for Cyberpunk would the first and last one. I truly hope that isn't the case. This game has so much potential, and now with the new-gen releases, the game has finally flourished. I truly hope we get a lot content of Cyberpunk in the future. And hopefully a sequel in the future.

  3. Almost 4 hours of streaming, getting in shape?
I hope V's shadows will be fixed in the next CDPR expansion, as well as the fact that V is not reflected anywhere except for scripted mirror scenes. The game will soon be 2 years old, but V still has broken shadow textures, another pair of hands appears, right above his head.

  4. Some Great Topics. One of My favorite quests from another RPG was the Johanka quest in Kingdom come. The Quest design was top Notch and it Had a great story behind it. Got a question Regarding how long it takes to make Quests Typically the ones like Bloody Baron or Last wish. Also do you ever Run out of Ideas for quests?

  5. I finished all quests, but made some wrong decision in one of them, so I don't get the secret Arasaka raid ending. Is there some way to enable the secret ending after playing through the other endings? Would be a pity if I had to start all over again…

  6. I have no idea of how game development works. All I know about it is based on your streams. I get too many burning questions while listening to you. I wish CP gets the same love as W3. Hope you guys can sustain the game for many years cause I don't think yall understand the amazing gem you have created. It just needs more love to become one of the best games in history. When I think about the future it makes me wonder like how much work would it be to port this game for ue5 so future content will be easier to implement. So in many years on the road, instead of having a second installment, it would just be CP but on ue5. This are just my wish and I know I'm just grasping at straws. Hope I get more info on this from you or the team in the future. Thank you for the streams , it helps me get through med school.

  7. Pawel, i would recommend to hide ur bookmark in ur browser either permanently or atleast the time of streaming to avoid any clickbait articles to get generated from ur mistake in the future. 😊

  8. Pawel, have you read a lot of philosophy? I did my M.A. in it, and I think studying it could help one appreciate the brilliance of Cyberpunk's story a lot more.

Johnny Silverhand's uncontrolled lust for life (as well as his mockery and disdain of what Richard Rorty called "redemptive truth" AKA transcendental philosophy) reminds me of Nietzsche's concept of the Dionysian affirmation of the sensuous and unconditional love of life, and the main story of V's terminal state calls to mind Heidegger's concept of living with authenticity through one's awareness of their dread of death as they continue striving forward despite the inevitability of their fate.

As a philosophy grad, I can say CP2077 has a more impressive story than any game I've played.
