Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is not far from release. I feel like this will be a major step up for the people of CDPR and the fans of Cyberpunk in general. With plenty of overhauls happening to make the game feel brand new, we should all be in for a pretty damn good cyber-treat this September.

  1. since the release of CP Edgerunner anime and 1.3 patch update (and so on), CDPR show us they're trully seek a redemption. Thanks to their effort, I think they are really success with this.

  2. Edgerunners did spark more attention towards the game, but the main thing is that CDPR releasesd tonnes on DLCs and patches that made the game incredible……well before Edgerunners. That's what truly kept people playing and attracted new players. The devs deserve way more credit than edgerunners……..and I love that show.

  3. It won't, the game is full of bugs if you explore, the police system was already fixed by modders, the open world is lacking and the % on weapons and skills doesnt really matter. I trust them with giving us a great story though. Keep in mind, CDPR didn't oversell this time, and they mentioned what to expect from this expansion, why so many people made videos about cyberpunk 2.0 and how everything will be fixed idk

  4. This is gonna be a long one because I have *feelings*.
I was so incredibly hyped for this game when it first launched that it fucking hurt when it released in that state. CDPR was a developer I held as the shining bacon of everything game devs could be. They had a golden opportunity to create a revolutionary game. Cyberpunk as a genre is awesome, the way it is able to address current problems while tackling the worst of our nature, but still displaying what makes humanity worth it is incredible. The Edgerunners anime displayed that beautifully. Honestly that is one of the single best shows I've ever seen and it hurt me so much more than any single season anime should ever have been able to do.
I had hoped for a game that would redefine the term RPG in gaming, and they showed off so many things that made me believe that it could be done. Wall climbing, backgrounds, campaign twists, etc. The Witcher 3 was great and this looked like it was the next step.
This expansion looks like big step in the right direction. I hope they don't screw this up. I want to believe in this developer desperately. But I've been burned, Cyberpunk wasn't just technically challenged. Every aspect of the game suffered because of the delays and resets. I can't pre-order this. But if it launches on day 1 and isn't a mess, then I'll be one of its biggest supporters.

  5. I've been fascinated with this game ever since before it came out. I played this when you couldn't even buy it. I have watched this game change 4 times now and i gotta say i miss the old map that was 3D and could rotate.
