You don't need to double tap A. Just hold it when you sell the initial stack minus 2.

How do you dupe the legendary components every time the prompt pops up so are u sure u wanna sell and interrupts it ?
What if you only have one of the item you’re trying to dupe? Would it work?
DPJ your previous method combined with this one is the best way to duplicate. This method you are limited to the 20,000 eddies in the drop point. You will quickly reach a stack that exceeds the 20k this only works if there's enough eddies in the drop point for your stack. Using your previous method takes your eddies and puts them in the drop point. Allowing you to duplicate larger stacks, once you're done sell some of the stacks you made back to get all of the eddies out of the drop point

You need to have the cursor on the stack.
You can sell all of the second stack.
This doesn't work 100% every time. If you try it with a clothing vendor, the buy back option can bug out. It will show the item you want to buy back, but clicking on it will do nothing. Buying items from the vendors regular inventory seems to trigger the bug, so if you are trying use this glitch to stock up on the latest fashions, it's best to sell a single and try to buy it back just to make sure it's going to work.
Old news. And why can't people jus play the game without cheating.
You don't have to hold down the X button (ps5) until after you select the quantity, and before you hit the sell button. You don't have to hold it down the whole entire time like you showed. But you do have to make sure you keep the cursor scrolled over the item when you do press the buttons though, just like he said in the video.
simply this is the only glitch people use for eddies
Btw the way if u have a couple of silver earrings you can dupe them and use them as a money glitch.

If you want to quickly get your crafting XP up, duplicate a disassemble item into the thousands, like grenades. Disassemble, repeat.
Any way to do it with the painting ?
I found a method thats consistent for pc, same set up as this only you double Tap F or your interact key over the item your selling. The menu will pop up a second time and let you sell as many as you had before. Only issue is it will take whatever is remaining.
Because of this when buying back if you buy back one item then double tap F over the item your buying back you can get the rest of the items at suggnifigant discount.
Note, trying to use this method with gun vendors or other vendors makes the item something you can't buy back from them. I cleaned the vendor out but couldn't buy back the original item I duped so a heads up.
FOR PC. With LMB dbl click & hold on the 2nd click on the stack and keep holding it down. Then hit E to choose max, then left arrow twice to leave behind 2. Then press and HOLD F to confirm, when the amount window pops up again hit E for the whole stack and hit F to confirm again. Also remember before hitting & holding F to confirm make sure ya mouse pointer isn't on the amount selection slider itself. If done right you should have double the stack then just buy them back and you should get all the items and haven't lost any money. Use this to dupe crafting mats, then craft the Ying Long SMG to sell for easy money.

You can do the same with vendors which have more money than the drop point. I have been doing that for over a week now.

I have been having an issue where it won’t let me buy them back. It shows buy back but it won’t let me buy them.
i got to 2mill doin this 😁 when i 1st hard about this. dex weapon Infinite ammo 😅.
you can even start with just 2 stacks 👍🏿.
give the 2 stack to the vendor, do the dup from him to you. do the glitch by givin yourself the 2 stacks from vendor then do the 1 after. when lookin at the inventory you will have 3 stacks then just dup it normally 👍🏿
