  1. For the notice. Engineering can also level up by manually turning off cameras, disarming mines and turrets, dropping stacks, opening doors, braking fences etc.
But it's even more boring and limited.

At the end, only real benefit from all that hustle is 7 extra perk points. All other is tech weapon specific.

  2. How viable is the Legendary Short Circuit build these days? I know crit chance got nerfed hard in 1.5.
My PS4 got bricked during the lockdowns and I'm waiting for the prices to come down to get a PS5 or Xbox,.
My build was B:3, R:18, T:18, I:16, C:16. This gives you legendary heal on kill, deathbolt, legendary kerenz., nano-relays, can craft legendaries, hacking crits and +crit cyberware, metabolic editor, inductor, heat converter (armour boost when shocked, heal when poisoned, damage buff when burned, including from your own grenades which works well with a melee build as you can throw grenades at enemies, get caught in the blast, take no damage and get buffed/healed by them) and a bunch of nice things from Cold Blood and Ninjutsu (+crit from stealth, +crit for 7s from stealth, which even without stealth play can mean you just open really hard, and help stack CB, but can also be exploited using memory wipe).

On paper it was a glass cannon, but it had amazing survivability from being able to buff yourself and CC enemies (reboot optics, gun jam, and you can stun with overheat). There were also a lot of things that stacked armour (high tech skill, Defensive Clotting, Inductor etc), plus heal on kill, deathbolt, crafting bounce back and poison grenades.
