  1. So if you were wondering what is ALIEN ISOLATION like… this is a good taste of it. I struggled with this part mentally a lot.
The Millitech Canto deck is fun to use even if you do not have much use for it at this point, and you can craft components as well for it or purchase them since you showed not having enough to craft it.

  2. Ah yes it's that part. Now you have a preview on what it's like playing Alien Isolation 😅 (I'd still love to see a playthrough of that).

But yeah this was unexpected, I didn't see them adding horror in this game.

  3. I think CDPR has what it takes to make a survival horror honestly. My one critque for this section is that if you invested in Stealth related stuff you should be allowed to have an easier time to navigate this, stripping back all the RPG elements in this one section in an RPG game is ehh.

So you know that one fuse box you fixed? If you scanned it I think it would show you the door it's powering, that requires 20 tech iirc (right next to the sierra room) and if you went in there I think there's a blueprint for a gun more importantly though it allows you to skip this 1st two terminals for free and puts you right at the chase scene to the airlock.

  4. I did not enjoy playing this path, hide & seek with the security robot was not fun gameplay. Though you get more background on Songbird. Up til that point, I thought it was the best DLC I had ever played. Then the game hit you with hide & seek vs a one hit kill robot.

  5. Wow, what a monster of an episode, love it!
This was my original ending and even though I still stand by all the choices that led me there I do not feel good about the outcome. I really wanted to save her life, but I couldn't take the choice away from her…

  6. Even after all of this reed still didnt get the NUSA's dick out of his mouth? Even johnny wasnt that idealistic, or that stupid.

P.S. really wish we could killer myers in leave in silence to ensure no one will ever touch so mi again

  7. That was the first ending I got and even after checking all the other ones, I think it's still my favorite. It just feels like a more proper finale for the whole expansion, with it delving a lot deeper into Reed's and Songbird's characters, taking place in Project Cynosure research facility after all the foreshadowing in the story, introducing us to more Blackwall and rogue AI's lore, actually facing Hansen in person rather then him being casually taken down off screen, Max Tac ambush, more references to our actions in the base game (with being able to ask Netrunners, we have aided before, for help), unique gameplay style, etc. It is also the only ending in which we can convince Reed to leave FIA behind (if you picked Nomad lifepath, at least).

Another thing I appreciate is that both endings of Reed's path give you more space to breathe and reflect on what happened, since they are longer then the alternatives. With Songbird endings a lot of things happen a little too quickly, like Reed's death or alternatively him taking her away, then simply flying away while barely saying anything, making them feel less climactic. Even postcredits conversation with Johnny about Reed's endings was a lot more in-depth then the other ones.

And I kinda disagree about Reed's path resulting in more people dying. If we look only at the named characters, sure, but don't forget that our visit to NCX ends with a major massacre, with many civilians dying in the crossfire, and potential trigger for the next Corporate War between Night Corp and Orbital Air.

  8. I do find it interesting how the Reed route has arguably more of Songbird's story in it.
If you do this first you're more than likely to help So-Mi in the other route I would say.

Also that conversation with Myers in the desert makes me think. Was it all an act when she was being chummy with us during the rescue op? Was she just being laid back and chill with V because she needed us? She's so cold and menacing in this scene compared to the beginning of the expansion I really did come from laughing at the line of her inviting us to dinner all the way to hating her guts with a passion. Great character even with the smallest screen time given.

  9. I like the extra info this ending gave us. Still doesn't absolve So Mi, but at least we know more about her and Reed.

And yeah, that horror segment was . . . frustrating. It really doesn't mesh well with your lore-diving, completionist nature.
