Cyberpunk 2077. We’re all aware of it by now. There are a few people out there who haven’t heard of its (almost immediate) fall from grace. Though fewer are perhaps aware of a more recent tale… A tale of redemption… Maybe?
I don’t think I need to go into too many details regarding Cyberpunk’s release, and the endless myriad of issues that plagued it several months after launch. Countless videos have analysed every little problem, every little broken promise, to death at this point. So, like many people, I avoided it, assuming it wasn’t a game worthy of my time or money.
And to be honest, my opinion probably would’ve very much remained that way, had the game not suddenly gone on sale around my birthday, prompting my brother to offer to buy it for me.
So, now I’ve played the game. And upon completing it (twice, I may add), I think I’ve realised that… The problems just were never quite that big to begin with. Could it be that I’d be wrong about Cyberpunk this whole time?

I like how almost every mission/side quest/ncpd event wasn't just built to be taken head on, but have relatively clear ways to do them through stealth. If you haven't done a full stealth/takedown only run it's amazing. Once you start playing that way you truly see how good some of the level design is. Whether it's scaffolding to jump off of and do flying takedowns or radios/lights you can use to distract enemies nothing feels impossible even on a full stealth build
I preordered on PC and loved it from day 1. Yeah I saw a bug here or there but they were mostly funny, not game breaking. But man the story and the missions were great! From the get-go. And I just couldn't believe how the anti-cyberpunk mob just make it all sounds crap. It really showed me that you can't actually believe anything online – hype and anti-hype are both crap. Nowdays I try stay away from all and any reviews/previews/opinions/etc… I depend totally on the marketing and official videos sent out by the companies, and I can tell you that I am far happier.
nice review bro! it was interesting to watch! maybe you can test this game on cloud gaming? I`d be happy to watch a review of some games on Boosteroid! friends told me about it and I wanna try to play there. I`ll appreciate it!
I played the game upon release on PC and I didnt experience that many glitches. And the gameplay and the world was great and alive even back then.
