The most simple thing is just look at Mafia original and Mafia definitive edition. I’ve played both of them but it looks like the game makers took time and put in a lot of effort to make it and that is certainly appreciated.
These games look and play like dogshit. Anyone defending this and other abuses of beloved games because of nostalgia or slight GFX improvement that a 3rd grader could've coded better are either shills or bitter they dropped $60 for this insult to the GTA franchise and are trying to justify it.

Rockstar lost trust with me. first they started to lose it with all this shit about gta online, their online plans and no dlc for single player… that red dead redemption it was great single player game but online is just…. bad…. straight up bad.. and now this… it's worse than blizzard and cyberpunk.. dam cdpr doesn't take down mods for their game and Rockstar does.. this so called remaster actually looks like few of these mods slapped together and tossed into a bundle but than I don't want to disrespect modding community because they make more quality mods than Rockstar ever put into this.. this is bad…
Save money by spending less on actual people to work on the game just have an AI rework the trilogy for free and sell it for 60$
This could have been forgiven had the Original Triolgy weren't Delisted
and The Modders weren't getting DMCA takedown stikes Left and Right.
The game is DESERVED to be Review Bombed and i shred 0 sympathy for it.
The OG Trilogy and Mods DIED for this…
ATLEAST CP2077 and CDPR got the decency to offer full Mod support and let actual Modders do the work and fix the game.

The modding community SHOULD make the remasters, not these scammers, lazy fuckers with no effort.
It's one thing to release a disappointing remaster, but to fight the mod community for no reason other than business and take down the other options of the game from digital stores for no good reason at all…..that's the part of Rockstar that needs to be remembered. These decisions aren't just bad ones, they're purposeful and they're glad to be taking a shit all over their consumers.
This is sad I didn't grow up in this generation of games and if it wasn't for the mobile ports(I guess you could call them) I wouldn't even of played them but after I played a couple of hours of both GTA vice city and San Andreas on mobile and watching videos of people play these games I see why people loved them so much and I see why people were so excited for these games to be remade and I was too but to see what were fun and exciting games end up like the San Andreas remake on PS3 and Xbox 360 but just a bit better it's just really sad but I do hope that Rockstar games try to at least fix them so this generation of young gamers like me can play them in a not so broken way

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition also become the next WC3 Reforged flop.
Also when it comes to the performance issues and fps drops, Im on a Series X and every new game that comes out feels like a coin flip. Playing a polished game on release is like winning the lottery.
Looks like a mod, not a AAA $60 remaster by the original development company. How disappointing.

I mentioned about how well done the mafia remake was and how I wished Rockstar did the same thing with classic gta games. Yet I got attacked by all the shills.. No excuses now.. Rockstar got plenty of money and could of easily done a remake from the ground up. Would of made the gta6 wait alot easier.
