I like how you can upgrade the weapons You like. You don't have to keep swapping out weapons just because a newer more powerful version of that same weapon appears. That's the way it should play.
You can make multiple manual saves! I have a save with 100% main story with all of the side missions still available. From 1 playthrough I have built 10 builds, no NG+ or restart needed. Inversely you can complete all side missions first then do the main quest at a high level/gear.
Hopefully the bugs, bad FPS on gaming consoles are fixed
They made cool down on health and grenades because ppl would cheese boss fights by chucking endless crafted grenades at them lol.
Along with disassembly, don't ignore white-blue weapons, you can also upgrade all the crafting mats you get out of breaking items down, all the way up to Legendary. Keep white mats to craft ammo with, and stockpile and upgrade the rest of your mats from green to orange for later legendary upgrades and crafting recipes.
Thanks, appreciate the advice. I'm starting my 2nd playthrough (1st back @ launch), so I needed a refresher like this. I see what you're saying with the attributes. I really didn't read too far ahead on my initial run, but I'm micro-managing this V.
You can buy a respec from vic for 9000Eddies
nice titz bro
just reinstalled after buying Liberty and loaded my old save. level 50 street cred. street kid with sword knife and revolver in inventory
not sure what to do but i really have to do a full respec. i wanted to try a jack of all build but your video makes that seem like a poor choice.went with the new jenkins legs. love my sprint speed with swords.
Glad I waited till now to play this game having a great time still crashes once in a while but then so does Starfield.
His game looks terrible compared to mine.
I'm using Reshade (lowers fps) and running game at 4k, max everything, on a X670E Mobo having a 7800X3d and 4090 all oc'ed does wonders and with my Asus PG32UQX monitor.
Game is jaw dropping to look at. Had a PC buddy and a console buddy look and man when they left, they were sad…. lol!!!!!!
Ave fps around 60 at times a lot higher…. here and there dips below 60 fps. With dlss 3.5, path, all the new stuff on and at max and psycho settings and at 4k of course! After all, it's 2023 = 4k gaming. Anything less, is gaming backwards in time and not in the present.
I drive everywhere.*. I almost never use the fast-travel system, even if it's a very long distance away. 1) It gives me a chance to see the amazing scenery. 2) You never know what you're going to come across — gang fights, NCPD hustles, etc., etc. A chance to earn €$. 3) You get a chance to listen to the radio — *LOTS of amazing stuff on the radio, not just the music.
When you get a relic malfunction TALK TO JOHNNY!
One mistake to avoid is to never say “you’re just as f*cked up as me” when talking to Johnny after the clouds quest or your game will be bugged and you’ll get the “sick V” glitchy screen for the rest of the game. I had to go back two hours on my save when I realized it wasn’t supposed to be that way and my screen wouldn’t stop shaking. Went back and said another thing to Johnny during that quest and it didn’t do it. Problem solved. Super annoying tho so just a heads up to anyone like me and starting a new game!
Do weapon stats still scale with V's character level when you pick them up for the first time?
237 hours in this game and still going, have not used fast travel once,
Driving around is too fun, IMHO this is the best open world I have ever seen in a video game, incredibly entertaining, interesting and just really beautiful.
Context: the reset attributes is only a thing if you've got the expansion
you can hear the ps5 working double time with this game
I'm happy that now you can get any quality iconic weapon and you can upgrade it's tier from common up to legendary, you just need to have some money, get levels to be able to upgrade higher and have components for it.
But I don't know for me it fells like Technical Ability skill tree is must have, because cyberware is really important. So without it you are kind of limited to less amount of cyberwear.
Also I don't like that you cannot exceed chrom level without perk, and don't like that cyberpsychosiz is something that give you boosts and you don't lose nothing important, only reducing max health by 25% and that cops attack you.
Cyberpsychosiz should give you some nice bonuses but also a big disadvantage so that you want to avoid cyberpsychosiz, so do not overuse your cyberwear.
Masks also have a use in 2.0 as they may offer toxic resistance.
Cool video bit you said 1 mistake. You can re assign your Artibutes on any new game but only once. So a tip is to make a save before you reset them and you try different specs. If you don't like it, reload the save
Get some shelves and put them on the wall to the right to display figures and you might have a not boring room.
Shallow video, sorry to say. No substantive information that goes beyond normal common sense.
Tbh a LOT of these changes are catered for the looter/shooter experience and less so for the RPG experience (Cyberpunk is an RPG after all). Auto enemy scaling, infinite items with cooldown, crafting mechanics, cyberware are going to be BIG areas for the modders as well as working on that flat sandbox and (still) broken police/warrant system. The game also needs a humanity/cyberpsychosis mechanic for the player as that is CENTRAL to Cyberpunk lore. Nonetheless, there are some important changes as well, the improvements to enemy AI and quickhack use for eg, the introduction of more dynamic gang relations and interaction into the sandbox is also welcome. Lots of work to do tho for modders to make this game the RPG it is supposed to be.
I have always kinda wanted them to make more use for consumables, i feel like alot are clutter pick ups.
I find it odd this whole thing of characters looking funny with armor clothing in the previous versions of Cyberpunk.
Did no one figure out the Outfits feature that let you wear the best clothing stats but then Outfits let you wear something cool over the top of all that?
Are you sure all Ripper Docs are not equal now? So far as I've played I haven't seen any differences in the Ripper Docs, they just all mark everything as "new" if you haven't been to that Ripper before.
A ripperdoc guide would be great
😅
I love hearing more about the new Update, but i hate to say that many of the things you said are just not true.
Even though they were mentioned so many times in the promotion of the 2.0 Update.
– the edgerunner Perk is not the only way of increasing the capacity, you can increase it by:
– leveling up
– finding capacity shards while doing NCPD missions (very rare)
– there are other little perks that increase the capacity, or decrease the drain of cyberware
– Rippertdocs are now all selling the exact same things, no more searching for the one correct Ripperdoc
– you can only upgrade iconic Weapons, no normal variants
– you start of with 2 heals, its not due to your skill tree
– Netrunner vendors are insanely expensive, dont use them, just jack into all the terminals you can find to get the resources, Blueprints and fully build Quickhacks
– If you dont get a specific Quickhack due to bad RNG, you should only buy the blueprint, the ready build versions are insanely expensive and not worth it
I MISS the days when titles didn't NEED to capitalise and SENSATIONALISE everthing , to be fucking honest.
Btw if you got the capacity perks from the old ones, you lose the free space if you reset your attributes. I have 457 and if i reset, i get dropped down to like 250+
The only thing that was lacking for me when the game first came out is the ability to throw/punch people into walls(ragdoll)
Now we got that and I was full for a moment.
Now im empty again so now i want wall running too🤦♂️😂
WTH I was able to craft all these grenades and legendaries and now I can’t.
Complete beginner guide? AWESOME! Why dont YouTubers do that every once in awhile for, well, all kinds of stuff? Im a complete beginner, aka havent been playing CP since inception, so dont know what YouTubers are talking about half the time; leaving me to watch hours and hours of content just to pick up the little bits of info rather than watch a single say 45min-1hr video that tells me all the foundational info I need to know. For instance…. what are all the different icons for a weapon mean? Why cant I load certain cyberdecks? And the list goes on…. Looking forward to your upcoming video, ERGO you get a sub from me!
you were able to look cool and still wear the armor dont bs, you could create outfits to look how you wanted and save the armor from your clothing dude….
Hey, nice video, how did you get the key hints for keyboard, i am playing on Steam and since the update the hints are for controlers which is really confusing.
OMG, i almost spit cereal all over my monitor…I was not prepared for Dwight to pop up, 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The fact that we can now respec our ability points at all is amazing to me. The fact that we can do it once per playthrough doesn't matter because we used to be locked into what abilities we spec'd into in the first place. Now it seems that perks are not only better, but changing them is now part of the gameplay loop. Being able to switch between subsets of a build is vital to success. Are there perk trees we'll keep throughout a run? Sure! but the fact that we can change them at any time means that we need to be able to do so to be/become the best Edgerunner Night City has ever seen.
