Set in a dystopian Cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V”, a mercenary in the fictional Californian city “Night City”, as V deals with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.

You may be underrating the NDI Osprey based on how you're using it. It's better as an aggressive hipfire weapon more than a sniper! You get 2 bullets reloaded per airdash with high Shinobi level so almost never need to reload while tearing through enemies, once you get rolling you're 1 shotting basic enemies and a 2.86 fire rate is quite good for how much damage per shot you're doing.
nobody is gonna talk about that order shotgun being a reference to star wars?
are any of those weapons misable or wil they pop up in the black market ? i dont like making different choices just to get weapon
Some great toys for when i am bored playing the totally op netrunner with smart smgs(not that you need smart smgs or your mono wire, lol)
Wild dog while not an all arounder should be on your list, unfortunately is the only iconic LMG in the game but when on full rate of fire does absolutely comical damage compared to every other weapon in the game especially when combined with fury and sandevestin when at high rate of fire. You can literally melt maxtec on very hard.
the new and improved fenrir is also op against cyberpsychos…
I know not a new weapon, but the updates fenrir smg is very powerful now and levels your net running if your not playing a net runner
I love the Rasetsu, but I was a little bit bummed out, after I read the note that is right in front of the sniper you get it from.
It states it has a link to allow uploading quickhacks via the scope and man was I disappointed when that it didn't had that feature when dismounted…
i absolutely love the order shotgun its insane if you have the right perks and cyberware, it synergizes super well with the microgenerator hand cyberware, all the tech gun perks and the shotgun perks, mainly the one which allows you to obliterate enemies
with all these i was able to one shot a full group of the 12 robots that spawns during the secret ending of the base game with a bolt shot when ur in arasaka tower and it was an insane rush of dopamine

the reason raiju is to good in vehicle combat is because of its unique property bullets piercing without charging shots, so when ur firing the gun, practically every shot hits the driver through the vehicle, its quite nice

Idk if it’s just me but ndi osprey isn’t that weak for me, when I use the sniper it will two or one tap enemies even the heavier bosses and that’s not with burst

i think the smart gun from one of the gigs i think is my fav just because it comes with built in silencer. ( i think gig is one with brazilian agents. its just as strong as yeng Smart SMG
There is one weapon I would have added to this list and its the Taigan revolver. It is so powerful and shoots explosive rounds. I got it from an air drop once and have never stopped using it. I highly recommend trying to find this.
I still think as far as pistols go, Rogues Pride from the base game tops them all. Unsure why but mine had 400% headshot multiplier on it but now its 150%. Still crits for 2.6-3k on a headshot though. Things a monster
Sadly we don't get to choose a variant of Erebus weapon I'd like pistol version a lot more (yeah ik we can go for cyberdecm too, netrunning not my style tho)
I like. The regular guns more than iconic ones waiting for a mod to get rid of them. I don’t want a cheat weapon because I don’t suck at playing the game
I’ve got one that didn’t make the list: Laika, the tech pistol you get from a supply crate drop. It’s more of a hand cannon than a pistol
I’ve used both of the weapons that you get for siding with Reed. The Erebus and the Cyberdeck and the deck hack is better than I initially thought. It’s like suicide but it spreads to surrounding enemies. I’ve killed bosses with one hack on hard. And it’s stupid effective on bots.
There is also a Cyberdeck you can find at random called the PsaveSfile5Corrupter Mk. 7. It blackwalls your game
You dont need to kill the women for the riskit. If you kill the guy she just leaves it on the table after her dialog
With so many additional weapons, I was surprised that the game hadn't added a fourth slot exclusive for melee
Y'know what's better than all of these weapons? Guts, Rebecca's signature shotgun with a Apogee Sandevistan. Not only is it Rebecca's shotgun, but with the Sandevistan the enemies are just too easy
Yea it makes no sense for it not to have a new game+ but by telling this is the last dlc I bet we'll never get it sad
Just a heads up for the ol reliable. If you get the high noon perk it speeds up reload speed by 35% and slows time by 50% so essentially as long as you’re getting head shots whenever you reload everything slows down but you stay the same speed.
Pair it with the militech apogee sandevistan and you can one shot a group of enemies before they hit the ground.
I wish they would go back to the other and or old school crafting so you can craft the threat analysis and sell it for whatever it was worth before just my opinion though
I think 2.0 ruined iconic weapons. Most default versions are better since you can get tier 5++ ones with 2 mod slots
Side note: erebus is good, but dont gloss over the cyberdeck. It has a instant multikill quick hack.

I think CD project red need to fix the issue to continue the save game with mods and items in the inventory that players played before the DLC
Imo, Kurt Hansen's "Bald Eagle" is probably the best one because of how well it combos with a sandevistan (especially the apogee) you can just run around and basically 1 – 2 shot everyone with the headshot damage. Even without the sandevistan, it's crazy strong.
I’m on ps5 an hav bought phantom liberty, I have never seen the increased criminal activity am I doing something wrong?
Great video, when I use power shotguns they hurt me just wondering how to stop that ?
