Cyberpunk 2077 The Devil Ending Guide (The Devil Trophy & Achievement) – Help Takemura avenge the death of Saburo Arasaka (Where is My Mind? Epilogue Epilogue):
1. During Main Mission “Search and Destroy” you have to save Takemura to get this trophy. It’s the mission after “Play It Safe” and just before the final story mission. This is very easy to miss because there is no objective for it and no indication that Takemura can be saved at all. You will go into a building, knock on the door 4 times, talk to Takemura and Hanako. After that police storms the building and you get separated from Takemura. Some enemies will now spawn in the building. Instead of following the objective out of the building, you’ll have to turn left at the first possible point and crouch under some rubble, then head upstairs to find Takemura holed up in a room with enemies. Defeat the enemies and escort Takemura out of the building. In the cutscene when leaping out of the building’s exit door Takemura has to show up. Then you have done everything right and can get the trophy. While you can still get ‘The Devil’ Ending if you left Takemura behind to die, it only unlocks this trophy / achievement specifically if he is alive. Goro Takemura will then show up during Epilogue. If Takemura wasn’t saved then Hellman can show up in the Epilogue instead.
2. During “Nocturne Op55N1” (Final Story Mission), Mysty will walk you to a balcony. On the balcony you will talk to Johnny Silverhand. Pick the following dialogues: “Think trusting Arasaka’s risky but worth it” — “Take Omega Blockers”.
This will lead to the Ending Missions “Last Caress” — “Totalimmortal” — “Where is My Mind?”.
3. During “Where is My Mind?” you have 2 sub-endings. You will be in a space station after doctors do a procedure on you. Just go through the daily routine until Hellman comes into your room. He offers you a contract and there are two choices that decide the ending: “[Sign Contract] I want to live” — “[Refuse to Sign] I’m going back to Earth”. If you sign, you agree to have your mind virtually archived. If you don’t sign, you will get to leave the space station and return to earth but will die within a few months from your head injuries. (The trophy ‘The Devil’ refers to the Rubik’s Cube you break open in a cutscene and it contains the picture of a screaming devil inside). The Devil trophy / achievement requires Takemura to be alive and it will unlock at the end of “Totalimmortal”, after you talked to Yorinobu and entered the elevator.
TIMELINE THE DEVIL ENDING:
Step 1 (How to Save Takemura) – 0:00
Step 2 (Balcony Dialogue) – 3:31
Step 3 (Trophy Unlock) – 6:04
Ending – 11:48

So this is the ending where you finally learn how to sleep in a bed?
What do I do if I chose the bad ending and it doesn’t let me get back and I didn’t save
What in TF is that face @ 42:18?!
I saved him but i chose the Johnny path so he hollowed me in the ending and said:" rot in hell kusu yaru" (or whatever it's spelled) that broke my heart:(
I can't be the only one who throws grenades and shoots them right before the hit the ground right? 😂
Oh, fuck me sideways!!
I had no idea you could save him!!
Damn I didnt know you could save him ahit
When you find out you didn't save Takemura in the playthrough where you got the bad ending, but did in every other play-through… I'm not mad…
What if this is how multiplayer starts you wake up in v’s new body and have to create what they look like 👀
Omg, am I gonna have to replay the whole game just to get this achievement? Cmon
I can never bring myself to play this ending and get this “achievement” Seeing Jackie dead..Again. And Johnny’s words just cut too damn deep. This is the absolute worst ending, I’d rather commit suicide than to do this lol
Glad I didn't choose this ending, it was bad the way I see. Who needs the Devil trophy anyway? I'd stick with the Star, thank you.
besides being sad about everything else, i'm so in love with the haiku the guard says about nostalgia and wanting to go back to better times in the same world and the Dr. talking about the ship of Theseus as you walk out of the room. I could probably write essays about both it's just such a nice, angsty touch.
Like said Mike Spondsmith Cyberpunk is not about saving the world but about saving yourself. Even if Arasaka fall, other corps like Militech, Biotechnica, Kang Tao etc will still be around. At less with this ending V can save himself. The only problem with this ending is that when you get your body, all the people you knew may have died from old age.
Do I have to save my game before I start this for the 3 other trophies
This game is so annoying seriously
Am i the only one glad i didnt take johnnys side? the whole story felt like he was being manipulative and was just constantly trying to push his agenda or take over V's body
didn't know smurf people were in this game and i've almost played 400 hours.
no achievement, it bugged for me, had the whole ending and everything on steam, guess I gotta restart….
What the hell I thought I saved him …. I thought I was done..smh I’m so determined to get this plat
Why are there so many comments about how honorable and amazing takemura is? If you choose the "Don't fear the reaper" ending he literally wishes you die and rot, all because you assaulted a building and killed a bunch of minions to save your own life. He hates you, simply for assaulting his corporation. A corporation. Takemura looks at his corporation as a real samurai would look at their shogun. Takemura is the most obedient corporate dog in the whole story. Why do you think he is only involved in "The Devil" ending? No idea why so many comments are mentioning how great he is. He literally isn't. He only obeys his corporation, to a fault. They literally tried to kill him, but, being the loyal dog he is, he still wants to help them, eventually helping Hanako overwrite Yaburo's mind with his father's engram. He isn't a good person. He is a living robot.
If "hell" was the default answer for "the present", It's a huge missed opportunity not to also put "hell" as an option for "the future"
Am i the only one who after the dialogue in the balcony, all of a sudden went to the credits directly?
So far Ive done the Panam & Devil ending, consecutively on the same save file, does it save all of your ending rewards on one file? Or do you only get to keep the last ending reward that you recieved? I was hoping to get all of the rewards for all endings onto 1 save file so I could have all the stuff at once.
Never trusted a thing Johnny said lol. Went and looked for Takemura immediately.
the moment when you thought you saved Takemura, but you didnt and didnt realize till WAY WAY LATER
Tak is a good guy but I have to let him die in the prior mission and do the Panama route. You let him die because you wouldn’t want him mad at you for letting hanako sad but that ending does feel more complete wheee as this one is like saying everything you did was for nothing and the corps win in the end
Imma be honest, I saw Adam Smasher taking Hanako and I thought Takemura was already dead lmao. Didn't even go for this ending but I feel bad for leaving the guy.
Goddammit I didn't know you could save him I'm trying to get platinum and I had reload a old ass save oh well I'm glad I even had this save
if you look back at hanako on your way out, you can see her tryna slip saburo shard engram inside yorinobu's head lmfao
I played through and missed saving Takemura so I started again with the sole intention of getting 100% completion and missed it again so now off the back of Edgerunner, I'm doing a third playthrough
Having to replay the WHOLE FKN CAMPAIGN AGAIN to get this trophy for a platinum is annoying. Getting level 20 in any skill for the “ten out of ten” trophy was bad enough!
Godanm, what a waste of time. Just cuz I missed a hidden objective that the game dosen't tell you about, now I gotta play the whole game again
Did this ending last night did not feel good, man. I teared up seeing Jackie again in the nightmares. I was tormented in that space clinic man. The game has done an amazing job of having me immersed in this world if it brought out feelings like that while playing
