I just refused to get in the car with the guy I was supposed to hit.. makes no point and have no reasons to.. so the quest ends after refusing.. wanted to see what the hell is going on.. I am very confused.
Great scene and convo in the diner, tho. I was really into this side quest. Kinda hit me in the feels a little when the mother came home, and he kept begging her to forgive him.
I took the option for triple what Josh would've paid and I didnt get any money.
I came expecting to be involved in a crucifixion and left disappointed.
The name of the mission I wonder if there was any correlation with The Smith's song.
The hardest part of this mission was keeping the dude's shitty truck under control…
Absolutely the worst side mission.
I WANTED TO KILL ALL 3 OF THEM
is not the end
Kinda shitty that they are nearly impossible to kill (one shot) and your contractor gets knocked, I was paid to kill him so I will…Don't force me to do a stupid side mission.
Edit: If you wanna kill him, shoot him as soon as he comes out the van then run back, zig zag. Steal a car and constantly run the body guards over. Every time you each the other side, park on the side, get out and heal and do it again. You literally cannot run big boss, he will dodge or phase through your car. Then lure him to one side, even though you killed the guy, you gotta go up to him and headshot him on the floor. Once you go that you call the lady.
Second Part of this sidequest is * intense!
I died like 20 times over on this quest because I always tried to kill the cop
My quest is glitched I think, the car in the beginning after the client was killed just drove off. Now my quest says neutralize Joshua, and there’s no map marker or anything
I love this mission. Easily my favorite so far.
i decided to take the girls offer but the game still hasnt paid me… i also got the message saying she paid…
I killed the main cop and the target person right on the spot, after they shot my contractor. I used my legendary katana, the main cop had no chance (When you spam attack with the Katana the enemy is stuck in a animation). After I killed the cop and the target person I had to run though. The NPCD AI just spawns behind you from NOWHERE, so there isn't any other option than running away from the drones and other NPCD officers. Received 5k from Wakako after I told her that I finished my job. If Wakako gives me a job, I will finish my job without any deviations!
How much do you get paid if you corpo convince the producer for more money?
u can always just shot him in the car or any time and just call wakako
One of my favorite quests so far.
I loved jackie's offrenda too.
Any way to keep bill alive?
I'm sorry, this quest sucks. The truck controls like absolute shit, the cars just go out their way to crash into you for some reason, I kept dying like 10 times because I tried killing the cop (WHICH IS THE RATIONAL THING TO DO IN THIS SITUATION) and then the entire quest glitches out and I die.
horrible made quest – the script of cars, no opportuity to change something… this is just bad
The smith
Really wish there was a video somewhere that had the wakako lines cause my games bugged and won't play em
What is soundtrack on 02:00 ??
In my game, he won't comes out of the car 🤷♂️
Sucks there is no option to save him
My favorite quest so far, interesting story, relates to the main characters, clever dialogue, great side characters, understandable conflict and legit RPG elements (You can choose V beliefs on God, afterlife, redemption and the nature of Silverhand). Wish more quest had this depth and roleplay in this game.
take me out
I guess you didn't get as far as putting the nails on the cross ? insane mission
Best part of the quest is when it all starts to go bat shit crazy and Johnny is all like" V, if you don't get in that car I am never talking to you again"!….made me chuckle pretty good
"Matapang Coffee" Filipino for "Strong Coffee" matapang could also be "brave" 😊
So… I'm trying to figure out what happened. At the point we show up at the house and get out of the van, I accidently double click 'd' and strafe, but that somehow sends Joshua flying into the sunset and then the cop jumps in the car and drives off almost comically fast and then I'm getting shot up by drones.
People in this comment section showing how much they care about the guy then go and run over 20 civillians with car… LMAO
God this mission is so fucking confusing and weird
I kill the guy, game got bugged
who feels good that they found the extra dialogue talking to crying lady before you walk outside at the end?
This quest hits pretty deep if you’re religious
It surprised me how much respect Johnny had for the guy considering how much of a cynic he is.
Best quest in the game. And not only for the Smiths reference.
I’ve never seen religious philosophy addressed in a video game in this way. The question of redemption against absolute mortal transgression is handled impressively.
(Spoiler)
A character is seeking to literally crucify himself, ostensibly to obtain hope of some salvation, and the game is asking the player to frame his motivations.
Writing never really shows it’s own hand or takes a solid position on the guy. It just sets up possible reasons for his actions and forces the player to consider them.
I think it’s brilliant.
This game isn’t getting enough love for what it does well. I hope it will.
Something jumped out at me that someone who's never played the original 2020 game wouldn't get. "Coked out corpos". How does he even know what cocaine is? The plant was literally wiped off the face of the earth with bio weapons.
This quest is pretty Horrible. In the quest it's mentioned that Jesus is still dying for peoples sins. That's totally 100% Not what The Bible says. Jesus died, rose again, and is no longer shedding blood for sins, it's Done. This is blasphemous. Also, Joshua is a transliteration of Jesus. Yeshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus, and its English spelling is "Joshua." So the game devs would actually have you if you partake in the BD in nailing Jesus to the cross! This is pretty freaking blasphemous. I would expect nothing less from Mike Pondscum.
I looked up the guide because i thought there was a way to make it through the diner sceene
Take me out, tonight.
Is the title of the quest a Smiths reference ??
When that guy with the white suit and eye augs sat down, i for sure thought he was gonna pop her in the head or some surprise shit like that. he looks to badass to pass up an opportunity. i mean fuck just the way he looks over at us in the convo while eating his meal
Seriously missed opportunity.
Is it normal that I wanted to kill every single person on this side mission? the first guy, the religious one, the cop, the producer? I seriously wanted to get rid of all of them, the only one I would spare is Gloria
