  1. I have some vibes of this being in the past and the one taking the oath was Jonnhy not V, then the new district and weird NightCity, but probably wrong due timeline conflicts.
Also someone say early that has leftover files that explain some of things in the the trailer.
    Sorry bad English 🙂

  2. 5:48 is that a holograpic clown mask? hmmmmm. I remember some random leaker saying that this gang called "Slaughterhouse" is going to appear in the expansion, and that they would be basically a crazy bunch from Pacifica who would wear clown attire similar to CB2020 gang – bozos. This didnt come from that script leak, just some other random unverified leak. According to CB2020 lore the Combat Zone is where corpos sometimes drop off cyberpsychos to roam the streets and fight each other. A gang full of cyberpsychos would be interesting.

  3. I hope the DLC finishes the V storyline and they actually draw the line and don't do too much with V anymore, their story is already told and has a clear ending, just give us new chars for a completely new game in 5 or 6 years

  5. About the Stadium, I really think you're coming at it the wrong way around. It's not that its getting deconstructed, it's getting basically retconned into never having been completed at all. Y'know, just like the rest of Pacifica.

My prediction (for what it's worth) is that everything we see in the trailer is set in Pacifica. The "new district" that's mentioned in the press release will likely be the previously inaccessible parts south/south-west of the stadium between Pacifica and Biotechnica Flats, combined with a general revamp of Pacifica as a whole into a more dangerous and lawless place. All of this will be designated a Combat Zone (since that's really just a security classification) and it will come into play with the complete police overhaul that was mentioned in the latest Night City Wire.

As for the story… well, I'm gonna go crazy and say the AV that's seen crashing in the trailer was actually transporting The President (or Vice President. At the very least a Senator) who is also the corpo woman we see, and V gets hired to find a way to get her out of Pacifica. Like an "Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the President?" kind-of-thing.

  6. I thought the lady at 6:45 was president Kress (having taken the place of Pres Meyers) after what I'm guessing is an assassination attempt that resulted in those dead secret service guys?
