  1. In my first run i choosed female character, so in the end gave my body to johny. But in the second one with male body, i knew from the start that Panam ending is my detection. Am in the end, this become my favourite ending

  2. Best ending for me, starting the game as a runaway nomad, then you find a family who would die for you and bringing Judy along to leave night city that taken so much from everyone

  3. for the Don't Fear the Reaper ending, I actually do get a few autosaves after the elevator and a couple more parts somehow. The downside is that your max health keep going down each part but after everything, Adam Smasher is the easiest part so having less than 3/4 of your usual max health wasn't so bad there.

  4. Of all the final endings, the Secret Ending Mission felt the most like an actual "this is it" mission. Lots of enemies, just you and your loadout, and the ever ticking down health bar. V and Johnny in actual sync.

All the others felt a bit hollow, or sad with the people who fall along the way.

  5. Im not good with my english writting but ill try my best.

Everything is my opinion and view of the game

Im kinda sad when ppl treat them as just character I mean I know their fake fictional but the story is so deep that it can reflect on your life in some way or another and the Role play of this game can actually make you know what type of person you are in a therapy way the endings are so impactful in some ways and remember its a role playing the idea is that YOU are V so you need to view each ending as if that happen to you in real life what you will do what will you ACTUALLY do in that situation you can not see V as immortal god being cause hes not hes powerful yea because we are the players but in reality he can die in many ways just as we im saying this to kinda set the stage of what im gonna say (remember its my opinion of how I view the game and story)

Dont fear the reaper its the best ending, in every ending someone dies, why some one have to die for you ? Jackie Die V best friend die thats 1 person enough nobody else need to die because of you, how can you live with that or how can your friend (Johnny hes a PROTAGONIST the game is not only about V is about Johnny too) live knowing Rouge die after Alt die because of him, how can Panam live knowing Saul die and others from her family die its not fair for them and theres another thing V himself in every ending you see his scared cause he will know he will die sooner or later and each ending reflect that from the most scare one to the one he overcome his fear of dead.

Take the easy route ending is the worst ending cause V never find the courage to overcome his fear hes scare of dying and he accept theres no more ways, so he go the easy route.

Choosing Hanako ending is another example V is scare he was having hopes and though Alt was wrong until the news of his condition worse, he panic he become afraid choosing leaving the station V is accepting his dead so he goes the QUIET life something some characters repeat in the game to V, accepting the contract V lose himself to a corporation and while u see the cut scene hes scare holding the amulete very thigh that by the way the amulete is a very important symbol for him in each ending, scare he wont know what will happen after that and this is just sad.

Goin with Rouge this one is just sad for Johnny look at this one like this V know he cant live in his body anymore I mean it gonna die sooner or later as long V is there so he give the body to Johnny giving him a second life he lose a friend (Jackie) so theres no point in losing another Johnny go back to V body and start a life but a what cost Johnny will live everyday of his life seeing V face it will remind him of those days a friend he lose, it will remind him of Rouge (that let not forget rouge is a MOTHER so a child is without a mom) and it will be hard for Johnny living with that he may continue as a wiser man cuase you see him grow but he will live with a huge pain of losing 3 of the most person he love V Rouge and Alt, Choosing staying with the body as V its just bad for V as I will mention below

The Panam ending I will 100% understand everybody that choose this even I did on my first playthrough but this ending is not happy I mean none of them are but this ending after seeing every other ending I just cant see this ending as the best one anymore cause Saul die others from the family die for V but for what?, in the end sadly he will die in months the other die in vain (like EVERY other ending), so hes scare in search of hope he goes with Panam cause she tell him she know people and at least someone can have a answer right? for something a 'maybe godly being' AI told him theres no cure and its too late to reverse the progress right? so with nothing else to lose and nothing else in the city for him V go with her in search of hope but then again 2 things 1 he still scare of the futere and 2 Panam sadly will watch another person she love die.

Dont Feare The Reaper ending is the best one cause at the rooftop he and Johnny discovered 1 thing 1 person die 1 person too many (Alt for johnny, Jackie for V) while Johnny is already dead V time is almost up so with everything that already happen for V and Johnny all those main story all those side quest all those gigs its to this moment all those people he meet and live with him have lives have dreams have futures, why will he have to choose who have to die with him hes time almost up the other can live more V find something he forgot he had something his friend in the head told him its about the Principles and what he was aiming at the start of the story with Jackie?, to become NIGHT CITY LEGEND this story make sense especially if you send Jackie body to Vicktor (I will assume this part cause i believe it happen in every ending if you send jackie to Vicktor but in the end jackie no jackie it make sense this part) Jackie wanted to become Night City Legends and V share the same bond with him both of them where to become legends I believe Jackie in that part at Mikoshi he was telling V that they both made it that they become LEGENDS and so V opening his eyes fight his fear of dead and just accept the time he got left and what do he do?, do Legends stuff he star becoming big people are knowing who he his and respecting him Jackie and Johnny drinks are in afterlife with David and V is just living what he got left at his fullest performing heist and mission nobody else would dare to do cause they are afraid but what do he have to lose? nothing his friends and love one are living he will die sooner or later but dont get me wrong hes still looking for a way out but if you gonna die why go quiet like DEX said to him are you gonna die quiet or go down in a blaze of glory, even Johnny said that even the GAME TRAILERS said that every other ending he go the quiet life in this one hes just blazing in glory while he slowly die and the best part no one of his love one will die because of him, imagine living everyday some one die because of you.

The idea is you are V what will you do?, if seeing a love one die hurt imagine V losing one, two or more people he call them friends or family its just sad. that why I believe Dont fear the reaper is the best ending.
Again my bad if my writing not great and I enjoy writing this, dint have anything to do XD also I like the video it still a great video but I think you miss the point of the endings well in some of them still I get it cause I felt like this at first but after a couples of playthrough made me see thing different how I view this game and lore and now every other game 😀

  6. There’s actually one more ending that’s super hidden. You fly to Canada to meet with Justin Trudeau’s engram, which is stored in a virtual reality called “Mikosh-Aye,” where he talks you into assisted suicide & having your remains ground up into Soylent Green. You then end up being eaten by Saboru Arasaki & spend your remaining days as a polyp on Arasaka’s colon. Apparently climate change is still a thing in 2077, who knew?

  7. My favorite ending is strike the arasaka tower alone and then give the body to Johny. V get a chance and Johny get a chance too plus it's quite emotional and Johny changes a whole lot saying not gonna waster your life.
But the Star ending is fairly hopeful Panam saying trying to look for a cure for V.

But overall i liked every ending even the Arasaka one, all very really interesting.

  8. Went with the Secret Ending on my first playthrough. You don't put anyone else's life at risk and you're not taking the easy way out. I thought that was the best way to end things despite upsetting Panam.

  9. I played the NOMAD line with Aldecaldos ending and it was one of the best, most satisfying rides. I would definitely vote the nomad ending to be the best one because it gives hope that V might still make it.

  10. My preferred ending is with the aldecaldos. I don’t really like the idea of working with a corporation and I also don’t love the idea of giving V’s body up when the whole game has been about V trying to keep it.

  11. The secret ending should have given player the ability to choose the epilogue he/she wants to see for his/her V in the form of options:
    – return to Aldecados
    – return to Night City Legend
    (Something like that)

  12. Here's hoping the DLC adds another ending option to the game.

With the DLC looking like you could be working with Militech, you could feasibly have a new ending option where you get backed by Militech to assault Arasaka tower. It will be like a re-run of the original assault on Arasaka tower by Johnny, Morgan Blackhand and the rest (which in the game lore took place during 2023, the same year the DLC is coming out.)

  13. Just like mass effect 3 (Kobayashi maru) no way to win, that's life, but like Jim Kirk I don't believe in a no win scenario, "how you face death is at least as important as how you face life, that's life but is that what you want in a game? I served 20 years in the military, I know about life death and survivor guilt, which reminds me, fallout 3 is the same, you die at the end or choose to let everyone else die (is that a Jesus complex) why is it so many games are written in this way, do they (the writers) feel the need to teach the youth (etc) of today the value of life or the importance of making good decisions. If you look at the world today, jan 2023, you have to wonder where it went wrong. It seems the stupid, the ignorant and the woke are lead by the blind. Here is a gun, a bottle of tequila, let's all be murder hobos, wow that got dark.

  14. The Star (nothing to add her) > Don't fear the Reaper (Rogue still alive; still breakups) > Temperance (V goes into cyberspace and Johnny ghosts Judy/Panam but visiting the columbarium and gifting the guitar "hey you forgot your guitar" "I don't think so" just brings a tear to my eye) > The Star > The Devil Back to Earth (sad and tiring, still a final f you to Arasaka) > Least Resistance > The Devil Contract signed (just playing through it feels sad and tiring and seeing a totally resigned V slipping unto the chair to get soul killed, it's just heart breaking)

  15. "I tried playing through this ending last night with my lvl 30 ninja edgerunner character but I kept getting one shot by these mechs, so I decided to call it a night and save my secret ending run for another day" literally described me last night to a Tee when I found out how to get the secret ending… My lvl 33 hacker V didnt even make it past the front door and I called it a night last night.🥲

  16. Devil Ending gives you a chance at life tho. If Saburo's Engram was able to successfully take over Yorinobu's Body who's to say you couldn't do the same with some lab grown Body or some street rat nobody'll miss?
