  1. Today is the One Year Anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077’s release. It’s been a challenging year to put it mildly, however after 2077 hours, I believe actions speak louder than words. If you want to be a Night City Legend, you just got to keep on Chippin’ In! Thank you for all your support Chooms!

  2. Happy Anniversary! You've spent more hours in Cyberpunk 2077 than most players do in live service games.
I still stand by that it's an ok game on PC. The bugs, AI and open world needs a ton of improvement still, but the main quests, music and characters are still great. No amount of bugs or cut content could ruin that for me. It's still a shame how the game was released one year ago, especially on consoles. We just have to hope CDPR learned their lesson (and it's not just PR talk) and deliver a great patch 1.5 in 2022. Also I have high hopes for the Witcher 3 next-gen in Q2 2022 and for the possible 4th Witcher game. 🙂

  3. After 300hrs in night city it's been a wild ride. I enjoyed my first playthrough on Xbox One X and was great, past month I got my Xbox Series X and started a new playthrough and the game is great after all those patchs. Before I knew it I was already 4 hours in and enjoying it even more.

  4. Geeze, and I thought my 285 hours was something…. Really hoping this game gets enough attention from the devs to become something more than a rushed mess. Yah, I'll likely buy the dlc….

  5. 1,600 hours here, choom. 2 more playthroughs and I'll catch up with you, I think.. (unless you keep playing too, haha!)
Who here is a Night City legend besides us? I hope you play the game HUD-less too and navigate Night City without a minimap, like me 😉

You can add me on Steam if you want, chooms!

  6. With all the fuss surrounding this game over the year, i think this game is becoming underdog/ not mainstream anymore AND i love nothing more. CDPR game become niche again and only the tight community hang around and this make this game so special. ( im allmost into 1k hours in this game and still going ) cheers!

  7. I waited like a month, played for two weeks perhaps, and I have been waiting for something. I don't mind the bugs, they never bothered me, I always save plenty, and never got anything that messed things up for me. It is the game itself I felt was lacking. I got so tired of walking up to every door I could see only to find it was locked. Every single door I saw, I checked, and damn the amount you can get into was so lame…

  8. My 83 year old Mum taught French, German and English, piano and cello and is a true woman of the world and a savvy sci-fi movie enthusiast.

I turned Cyberpunk 2077 on (on an Xbox Series X) at her request and we walked through the story about the mind controlled husband and wife in the election race (Sorry can't remember the name.)

Towards the end, after we'd spoken to the distressed wife in a café, Mum asked me to pause and said that she was very impressed with "a mature script for a video game" and said she was "utterly blown away by how beautiful it looks" before reporting that it was "easily the most interesting and mature game" she'd seen and "easily the most visually stunning."

I agree with her and believe that while CD Project might never be forgiven, the game will be held in higher esteem in the next 12 to 24 months.

It has also consistently blown away all of my non-gaming friends with no exceptions and not even The Last Of Us managed that.

It may be that it can be much harder for gamers who've lived through the release to see what is there now.
