It’s incredible. Stay for my review, but yes, I gave it a 10, and Phantom Liberty the perfect capstone after years of trauma and recovery from the original Cyberpunk 2077 launch.

  1. As far as ammo goes – I have 17000 rounds for my main gun and 1M credits. The semi Beowulf is incredibly efficient with ammo while being a good weapon in many scenarios, from one shot headshots from concealment, and works close up shooting fast.

  2. 🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨 PLEASE HAND CANNON REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!😖😖😖
The one V uses to destroy the motorcycle in the trailer. A good hand cannon is the only thing that would make me consider buying the DLC.

  3. Thanks for the tip that 2.0 comes out tomorrow (though it might be out already with a UK launch time), i thought I'd have to wait until Phantom Liberty. I got the game on sale a few months ago when I heard about 2.0 and figured I'd wait until that launched to play. I wasn't necessarily planning on getting Phantom Liberty, but I may have to now

  4. I played at launch on a good pc (ryzen 7 3700x and 2080, then later 5800x and 3080) so my experience was good from day 1. While you were hard on cdpr for the launch, I felt like you were really the only reviewer that didn’t just fully lean into the memes of cyberpunk dead game. So your glowing review means that much more for sure!

  5. Part of making amends for something is admitting what you've done wrong. CDPR to this day still hasn't done that and is insisting that the hate they got for their bad launch and outright lies was just people jumping on a hate train because it was a trendy thing to do.

No. CDPR knowingly released a shitty mess, they knowingly tried to cover it up before launch and have knowingly lied about it since.

  6. I’m very glad they’ve been able too turn this game around, I was all in at the start I even bought some collectibles and was pretty disappointed when I got my hands on it but always said that without the bugs and performance it would be a excellent game

  7. its been a real trip watching / reading your coverage of cyberpunk 2077. From frustration at your criticisms to the game on launch because I felt you were ignoring the great game that was underneath, to literally watching you now praise what I believe to be a fantastic game… and along the way learning to respect your well reasoned criticisms and appreciate your analysis as a reviewer. It probably wont matter much since youre a big shot on Forbes but ive subscribed and look forward to everything you have to say on games because you might just be one of the most credible commentators on this subject around. And I grew up with the good giant bomb

  8. The base game and Phantom liberty is on sale for $60 on steam right now until oct. 1st, and that is a pretty great deal for what this game offers. If you don't own the base game, this is the perfect time to pick it up.

  9. It's a bit ridiculous that the CDPR marketing team is blocking reviewers from using their own gameplay footage. My takeaway, just like last time around, is that the developers, writers, gameplay designers, and the vast majority of other people in the post-game credits are incredible at what they do, while the execs and marketing team do their best to undermine them at every turn.
