  1. Just bought an RX 6800. I'm sick of Nvidia's BS. Misleading customers (4080 12 GB), low VRAM that amounts to planned obsolescence, overpriced GPUs trying to establish a new outrageous normal. Cyberpunk can wait a couple of years, I will tend to other games first. I love what Nvidia's engineers are doing, but the management level ruins it.

  2. When is CDPR going to fix all the broken textures in the path tracing?
It's almost immediately visible in the corpo start with your boss' suit looking completely covered in bird droppings.
Then everywhere else blood textures, vehicles, metallic objects all display this same neon green 'mould'.
Path Tracing looks magnificent, but all those broken textures completely ruins the visual benefits it provides.

  3. It feels like that world is made off some super shiny plastic. Like all off it.
And that Nvidia was playing this on some phone. An iPhone killer by nVIDIA ?!!

  4. Whatever mod you've put on this to change the wet road surface looks WORSE than the vanilla path tracing and ray tracing wet roads in the game.
    Why would you do that?

  5. I’ve been playing in Overdrive mode and it’s off the charts immersive, particularly for indoor areas with low lighting. Outdoors looks fine, lots of reflections as everyone points out, but it’s really those dimly lit indoor areas that blow me away.

  6. Very clever optimization Nvidia, by using a vertical aspect ratio you save a boatload of performance by rendering less than an eighth of what you’d see in a horizontal view

  7. I appreciate the realism, but not that they use it excessively, because a large part of the street is wet or translucent, if the street is not transparent, also… doesn't RTX consume a lot of resources?

  8. To sand and polish the pavement is a huge job. I'd like to know wich machines and grits where used and meet the team that did it.
Where are in a moment where it's more interesting the work and tools used than the results. Gaming side of actual hardware is overhyped, overpriced and overrated. Should make it easier for people to access a carreer as 3d artist, developer, data processing and research… Price, low tdp, cache, vram, scalability…

  9. Great, now it looks like you're driving on glass. Even if it was flooded with water, there's no water physics. No water splashes when going through puddles. This game is just a tech demo

  10. WOW…
But those wer roads are super unrealistic…
It doesn't even look like water.
Look like glass and it screams fake, i want to show of.
Needs to go away in all games…

  11. Thisnis too much. Yeh it’s clever but it looks fake. It’s not a still mountain lake reflecting like a mirror. It’s a city with grime and road grit etc. reflections need toning down a LOT

  12. This is modded, The reflections even with RT Overdrive on wet roads are not this over the top, This is false advertising.

Also, CDPR still need to do some work on various textures that are pretty mediocre. Shouldn't have to rely on modders like "Halk Hogan" to fix textures.

  13. lol at 0:08. The "ferguson" sign texture quality. and yeah the reflections are way too much, i understand they wanna showcase raytracing etc. but you might as well showcase everything made of glass or ice.

  15. 0:37 Nice Job of showing how crappy Pathtracing got implemented into Cyberpunk.
Not only does it look super unrealistic it also consumes too much performance to be worth it.
