    More CFG tweaks you can try, (this is intended for low spec systems & may affect visual quality, use at own risk if you REALLY need more frames:
    )

    Set Crowd to Low ingame, set Slow HDD mode On.

    Make a user.ini in engine/config/platform/pc and paste this in. Additionally use the ingame Static/Dynamic downscaler for extra performance.

    Be mindful of your bottleneck, if your CPU can't handle shit then downgrading the GPU heavy options won't do much.

  2. Thank you, was looking for the developer feature name for volumetric fog. The difference in resolution quality is most noticeable for lighting, not Haze but until I can find a gpu upgrade on the market, I'll be turning this feature off entirely. The flickering lights are too distracting.

  3. DUDE thank you so much! cdprojektred really messed up with volumetric fog with dlss turned on. even with volumetric fog at the highest, and dlss at quality, the second you turn dlss on, it turns SUPER blocky. this makes my game look so much better, and run better too! thank you!

  4. thought I was the only person dealing with it, I only found two posts that mentioned it early on. and no one had a fix or explanation. I was willing to overlook a lot of the issues with the game because I'm so into the story/characters. But all of a sudden, while I was driving around the city I noticed it. and oddly, that was the thing that totally yanked me out of the experience. CDPR, give me proper lights and tasteful fog. fuck sakes

  5. The air is unfit to breathe, I think that was the aim of visual artists. You see this kind of air quality in china, where you can't see shit, it makes you sick in few minutes. Or other 3rd world capitals.

  6. This really helped me so much. I had a whopping performance boost around 15%. My fps went from 45 to 60. I run a rx570 and xeon e3 1240 v2 on high setting. Surprised me how effective this method is than anything else on youtube. Thanks so much. subscribing now.

  7. I tried it and it definitely works to remove the fog. Made me realize that there's volumetric fog literally EVERYWHERE. lol

    Personally, however, I prefer to suffer the fog blocks vs remove such a massive element of game's visuals… plus the lights still look funny.

    Cheers though!

  8. Thanks for that it was useful. I have realised (without knowing it) how much that fog can basically ruin the visuals. It's like smearing faeces over a painting- well to me anyway ! Thanks again 👍
