  1. The Glen apartment is pretty sweet but I actually like the one in Japantown more. Its smaller, more cozy and intimate, a place I'd actually like living in. Sadly, Kitty doesn't leave V's original apartment.

  2. Going into Arasaka Industrial guns-blazing is a serious challence. You get a lot farther by stealth, but it's a different challenge. There are many routes, and Corpo V can even get a free pass in if done properly. There are a couple of side objectives too…an iconic weapon and a Perk shard. Worth finding if you care to. Those emails give you a heavy hint about them. Oh, you found the perk! And the Shingen Prototype. How remarkably fortuitous. What's really annoying about this job is that even when you successfully stealth your way in, Takemura still does his 'distraction' and sets the place alight against you…at least on the Very Hard level. I find it very amusing that the game casts Russians as the nastiest bad guys. Some of the choices/responses to Alex make more sense if you play as Nomad and have completed all of Dino's gigs. As usual, there are layers you don't always find in a single playthrough. Maybe it's the wrong time of day to find Padre? There are a lot of things in the game that only appear at certain times. Waiting to do the Parade is a wise decision. The Glen apartment is the best in the game, IMO. Good point about the windows, tho'. I find it quite amusing that the record turntable rotates the wrong way. The coffee maker gives you a Stamina buff, similar to sleeping and showering. I always use it before a boxing bout. The only problem with the place is lack of a clothes closet. You have to use a mod to get a cat in any of the apartments besides H10. If I was a single man, I'd LOVE to live in the Glen apartment.

  4. Nice work on the Arasaka stealth mission!
Spoiler about the dude in the trunk. It is not possible to learn the full story as streetkid or corpo V, it is unlocked by the nomad origin.

The guy is of the darkest characters in the game, he was involved in biotechnica's unauthrozied testing, which resulted in a nomad clan wiped out and loose ends being tied up. (two related gigs, one or two hustles and a cyberpsycho) You already met a related cyberpsyho and a former biotechnica who wanted to blackmail the current biotechnica director.

  5. Now… that was not so hard- ey Lady Jesika?

See You can be "somewhat" stealthy. I knew it! 😀

Like I wrote before. You CAN come back there later and do whatever You please. There is still a lot of loot there and some exp. to gain.

Yes – the russian guy was referencing John Wick story. Tiger Claws are "happy" now. Love that V line about pop-out cake. xD

Come back to Brendan from time to time…

Word of warning – there is one quest from Mitch that You can miss out on. When You go back to the Nomad camp look for him.

BTW – Roach arcade game is THE BEST game. Did You know that developers of the Roach Race build entire RPG game around it?? xD

If You get one of those high scores You will get some rewards… 😉

Even Johnny has a higher score than You! xD

  6. The mech in this area kind of reminds me of ED209 from RoboCop. In fact, I can hear the Basil Poledouris score to same already.

I almost always miss the Mark V Shingen in this area. It's also a gun I don't think I use. I think I've had one run using smart weapons. I don't really gel with them.

You still haven't found Sovereign, the best iconic shotgun and a real boomstick in the truest sense. I think it's at a hustle in Watson somewhere.

As regards flirting with Takemura. At launch there was a surprising hope that a Takemura romance would be forthcoming. I can see why. He is a bit of a silver fox.
