Ever since release, Cyberpunk 2077 has had a hold on me unlike any other video game. With the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime and Phantom Liberty continuing to pull me back in, I couldn’t figure out just why I kept coming back to Cyberpunk. So I made this video, a love letter to Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s world in an attempt to move on.
Have a wonderful day chooms ❤️

If you've played Cyberpunk, what's the reason you keep returning to it?
I'm in the same boat bossman! Can't put the game down for longer than a month before it draws me back
Its just a good game.
From my experience it keeps you locked both playing as V but almost alongside them too, likely in a similar way to how it must be for Johnny, exept we can control V and directly control their actions/reactions.
You're watching everything happen and can only hope for somthing better even in different playthroughs.
The relationships built with all the the characters, especially Johnny, end up making the game much better as you realize that they can be compared to real life people. Not directly but on the manner of presenting themselves one way and actually feeling another and all the tiny details you find build it up more..
Johnny making subtle comments around the world, some pessimistic but others more relaxed and expressing that some of the people he's looking at just want to be seen and heard.
Rogue who although presents herself as a tough boss who gets everything she needs done, done.. once set in specific scenarios is upset and angry and refusing to say why like on the Ebunike.
Even V themselves who you already know is going through it all after watching Jackie die and being told their own time is limited, still has many situations where it goes even further- holding out hope but constantly finding roadblocks- even to the extent of thinking of giving themselves up to Arasaka. (The one of many endings, that is.)
Its the same reason Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 were so well loved in my opinion.
World details and story characters.
Phantom Liberty was also a fantastic dlc that added so much more to the emotions and story, it was one of my personal favorites of any dlc i've played for many games.
I used to shit on this game a lot during release cus I was reasonably hyped and we all know the launch day state, but Update 2.0 changed my mind plus PL, now it sits on one of my most fav games. The customization, weapon balancing, new weapons, etc. and just being stable, it became as it should've been at launch date.
if only they put car decals, apartment customization, weapon modification, and also just more NPC diversity and dialogues (breaks the immersion for me immediately)
👍🔥
I agree with you so much. I'm almost obsessed with the world of cyberpunk. The architecture, the culture, the technology, the lawlessness, and the colorful neon lights just mesmerize me to where I sometimes wish I could've witnessed it or something very similar with my very own eyes.
Night city just swallowed me, I wasn't able to play anything else but Cyberpunk. Ending on my first playthrough just broke me, like I was literally dead behind the screen. After that I decided to get PL on next sale and I do not regret any penny spent on this masterpiece. We all know cyberpunk had rough start, but now this is literally on of the best games over there. Waiting for Sequel for sure.
I play written game called Cyberpunkdreams, just because the CyberPunk theme is so enchanting.
ive played this game so many times since day one, and everytime i play i get sucked in for days at a time. currently playing through again, up to like 62 hours and still have a few side quests and rouge gigs to get through before i move on to the ending portion of the game, and fuck its so good. something about it is incredibly captivating
