When will the new update be released
I just recently started playing again because of Edgerunners, which has been amazing. Just to note Im playing on Epic Games launcher, so I dont think the Steam charts count me.
Still waiting on the finished game b4 I play. Cant wait
If CDPR has no more planned expansions for CP2077, then I'm sure it would take quite some time to finish another expansion. My guess would be that it would take longer than a year for more CP2077 expansion content unless they already had some material and ideas for more expansions already on hand.
That's assuming they don't already have something else in mind. It would be a shame to not expand on such an amazing world
cyberspycosis is a Huge part of the TTRPG so I was surprised it wasn't apart of 2077 and max tac hunting you down if you start showing signs of it
They could do what horizon does for NG+. In this case they could just have you pick a life path & then offer the option to skip the prologue or play it. Its not difficult atall. Agree that It should also let you reallocate all your skill points and attributes at the start of a NG+ as to change up your build.
If 343i could muster up a fraction of what CDPR has been doing,
Halo Infinite would have been the Messiah it was believed to be.
I love cyberpunk as an entertainment genre.
Ncpd, max tac, trauma team unit, random cyber psychos, other merc hunters, gang loyalty and corporations should all have their own presence and hierarchy ladder to climb. If CDPR ever went multiplayer with paid subscription they'd have A LOT of ideas to fall back on. I'd be all in!
why can’t new game plus be the exact same game, except when you assign attributes and perks you get as many as your character had to apply, and when you reach your apartment for the first time your clothes and weapons are in there
I really hope cdpr adds more to this game and hints and nods from the anime especially since it took off like it did like finding the edgerunners painted militech vehicle and we definitely need a cyberpsychosis system
I would so like to see more outfits added to game, like Lucy’s from edge runners. It so reminds me of major makoto’s from ghost in the shell.

I just hope they release a patch to fix the performance soon. I want to enjoy 1.6 but with a 3080 ti and 5900x i have now gotten huge frame drops and gpu usage down from 99 percent to 90 and is now cpu bound even at 4k. Pretty dumb whatever they have messed up so im still playing on 1.52.
Will modders provide expansions using RedMod so that they don't have to?

Yeah new game plus starting in act 2 makes sense easier for cd project red and in turn we don't have the witness the tragedy of the botch heist/Jackie's demise every time.

I don't understand their claims about the New Game+. I'm sorry to say it, but it's a bit stupid. I started a new game just before Edgerunners and 1.7…. and I used a trainer to give myself certain skills, a bit more cash and such. According to CDPR, I should be facing a broken game with skill checks that ruin the experience but that's nonsense. Not much has changed, not in the intro with Jacke and the heist in Konpeki Plaza… not all that much changed and I experienced it untouched 3 times before, so I would know should something be majorly busted.
So is this why nexusmods crashed when I was trying to install mods

After watching the edgerunners anime, I have now developed a personal vendetta against Adam Smasher, I am not sure yet if it's possible but I am going to jump back in which I was planning to do when the game gets fixed which it sounds like it's gotten a lot better since I decided to halt my progress, anyways I'm going to build my character up and hunt that Bastard, I will get revenge for my Dude David 😅😅🔥🔥🔥

Bladerunner was a complete story, but they keep adding more stanzas to its utter poetry. They won't ever be as good as the first one.
Yes, they're going to abandon a single player, non live service, game after the expansion releases. That's ok. They can't keep limping this game along after the expansion sells. They are a business after all. New titles like the Witcher and maybe CP 2 bring in a whole lot more money. I love CP. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, but after the expansion it's totally fine for them to move on. Hell, the more people they get working on the new games, maybe the less time we have to wait to play them.
This game was never supposed to be live service. It doesn't make sense for them to keep supporting it after the expansion is sold. What business incentive is there for them to do that. Maybe a few more people decide to give it a try?

Edgerunners leaned into the TTRPG roles a little, certainly more the 2077 did. FOr Multiplayer, I want even more.
