  1. I wonder if it moves seamlessly between keyboard & mouse and controller like the GTA games can? I find controller to be far better for driving, but makes it next to impossible for me on foot, with keyboard & mouse being exactly the opposite… (which is why I had so much more fun with GTA 3/VC/SA on PC than I did SA and the two Stories games on PS2)

  2. I will get around to watching it eventually now that you're finished. I'm curious which ending(s) you went for. IIRC the DLC ones are relatively straight forward and can be switched between until a certain point. At least some if the main campaign ones are a bit more obtuse and can be locked off by non-obvious choices. Both ways have their pros and cons.

Have you tried the game with maximum graphics? On GFN if needed. Probably won't translate fully to stream or YT but looks pretty cool.

An interesting touch of these gaming universes from the 80s is that people in the USA were basically expecting Japan to take over the world so you see a lot of Japanese on sign boards and in the slang.
Case in point: In one frame there was a Ramen shop in the background but the sign was in Katakana. ラーメン

  3. DLC – Phantom Liberty, was just amazing. I was so blown away with it. The game is now in perfect condition and if any of you haven't tried it already – just buy it! 😏 You won't regret it.

  4. One of the most immersive games of all time. If people haven't tried it out yet, there's no good excuse in 2025 to not give it a chance. You're missing out on a true masterpiece of an experience.

  5. Something I'm surprised you didn't mention (possibly were unaware of) during your sound section – all the music was custom written for the game, including all of the songs on the radio. There's a ton of great tracks in there!

  6. Oddly enough I've been playing Cyberpunk (still finishing my original launch playthrough) and have really been enjoying it. The game is finally in a great spot on PC, the combat and mobility are a lot of fun.

  7. Holy crap I was listening to the video while doing stuff around the house and that spotted sound sample startled me so bad it made me jump, turn the volume down PLEASE! I was cutting cake with a knife xD

  8. I think what makes this game's story a cut above the rest is the presentation. I mean conversation feels totally natural, different people have different body languages and ways they talk. They feel like people, not like NPCs. It's SO freaking immersive.

Still working my way through your playlist of the game, hoping some day you return to the game playig as female V and making totally different choices. This is a game worth multiple playthroughs. 🙂
